"The first one is a widescreen ipod with touch controls" The crowd goes wild. "The second is a revolutinoary new mobile phone."

That was when I came. :)

So wait ... the widescreen iPod + iPhone turned out to be one product? Fuggin' awesome if true. I'm tired of tiny ass cell phone screens, I want to be able to have a media center in my pocket at all times.

This has to be 720p... Was it a trailer?

Doubt they'd have a trailer for that still on the website. That movie has been out for some time.

Edit: And holy shit on the phone + iPod thing. Cingular here I come!

hm.. they're still calling it the iPhone - so are they going to throw their lawyers at linksys/cisco?

I'd assume if that is the actual, non code name for the product that they have made a deal already.

I finally popped my Apple cherry with a Nano last year. Now this. ****ing Apple, reeling me in, hook, line, and sinker.

They have trailers for all the films they sell through the iTunes store, so it's conceivable that it's on there.

"So let's not use a stylus, we're going to use the best pointing device in the world -- our fingers. We have invented a new technology called multi-tuch. It works like magic, you don't need a stylus, far more accurate than any interface ever shipped, it ignores touches, mutli-finger gestures, and BOY have we patented it!"
:lol

"iphone runs OS X"

Most amazing day since my birth 31 years ago! :D

"desktop class applications"

Woohoo! (Yeah, I'm a dev)

Oi, what's with the hating on styluses. :(

(The multitouch interface is nice though, I've been wondering what company would be the first to bring out a product with it. Been around in different dev-labs for some time)
