Vump I just tried to add you to my friends list and it tells me that that gamertag does not exist.
N/V FMT checked his list for me and noticed it needs a space.
hopefully we can get our game in tomorrow afternoon or late tomorrow night. I'm leaving Sunday to go look at some houses on Monday and wont be back until Monday night.

just as a heads up to all league players: i'm toying with the idea of no vision cone at all. the reason being is the rush is so fast in this game often times you have NO TIME to direct the cone. this leads to extra sacks when they aren't needed. i love vision cone but its tough when you have to swing the cone around and you have 5 guys on your ass at the snap

when simeon rice busts you in the ass for 3 straight sacks (NO PLAY ACTION INVOLVED!) and you are completely helpless to stop it then we'll see.
although you are using a power team. some of us actually have to earn our victories buddy

I still think Cone should be required. The amount of cheese stemming from no cone is gonna be complete and utter bullshit

Ill be honest. Ive been lost about what we were doing here for about a week now. I actually didnt realize I was going to have to participate in this tourney. :lol
anyway Im glad I have until tuesday to play because Ive been having connection issues and I might be going out of town tomorrow for most of the day.
Im pretty sure Ill have a new cable modem and router if necessary some time tomorrow. If for some reason I cant get it fixed Ill do the best I can.
I can play tomorrow (Saturday) if I get my connection fixed but most likely for a very limited time window. say 1 PM - 3 PM CST. Let me know if that works for you Duce.
say it aint so. there should be times when you dont have long to throw it. it'll be just like in Madden 2005 when I never used to have more than 3 seconds to throw anyway. playing without the cone would be a step in the wrong direction IMO. it would be so EAish.

guys let me stress this for the tournament: TRY to play a realistic game of being a QB. just try it for a few plays here and there! DON'T TOUCH the left stick after you hike the ball. let the computer do your drop back for you while you scope out the defense. lets try to have a realistic league here. i know SOMETIMES you have to get your ass out of there but when you take control of the qb moving right from the start and **** up your drop its no surprise you are having issues. konex of all people should be trying the auto dropback!

I played Truelize and he really didn't get carried away with Vick. He had a couple of rushes and 1 TD, but I left him wide open for that one by accident. If the hole is there, he should take it. I had all his receivers covered and he needed the TD to win it, so he went for it. I still won it with those few seconds, though.

Lol cloudy always runs to the right sideline giving his receivers just enough time to get open for the 30yard pass. What kills me though is that I KNOW ITS COMING and I still can't do a damn thing about it because he does stay in the pocket long enough for his guys to pick up the block. So I can't knock him. It's just that everyone has their own style of play and I think we should be able to play our style. I've seen people just dominate different people's style that others call chesse. Like in NCAA I loved it when they ran with the QB out of the pocket every play, you could dominate em or if they ran the corner post every play, I could swat it everytime. It just got difficult when you played a good player and then all the sudden they popped a outside corner route because it would catch you off guard and then its over D:
:lol I do believe Ive actually had all of these done to me over the course of many games against him.
also, not using the cone at a time when it was deemed mandatory.
he actually had the nerve to ask me if I had any downloads going on my PC during a game which we had terrible lag in.
I remember a game once where I got disconnected from my opponent and they told me they got so mad at a play that they kicked the ethernet cable out of the console. that might have been konex but he doesnt strike me as the kind to get that upset.
he's like the Al Davis of our leagues or something.
