Kick off returns for tds are worse in Madden than Ncaa Konex friggin span his way into the endzone twice against me to get back in the game,spinning kick off return tds gahhhh gross.

No lag at all? Maybe it is only on my end, but the whole game I struggled with the kicking meter and getting my defensive adjustment to take. Congrats on your win, I don't think I am going to win a game this season until I stop the run.

PS. What is your 360 set at? 480i, 480p, 720p, or 1080i? I am trying to figure out why I have lag the whole game and twice now my opponent didn't think there was any.

Wow guys i finally played the game today. Played about 6 games with my friend and I have to say this is worse than last year in many respects. Last year at least when you did the glitch run you had to take a HB with 95+ speed and run to the outside, well this year you can run up the middle and hit spin, run a toss, or even run back a few KR/PR's a game. Every game we were scoring over 50 a piece. It didn't matter if I was the panthers or if I was the titans its just wayyyyy to easy on offense. Playing Defense feels so damn disconnected its retarded. Its like your actions really don't matter. Running dime and running goalline yield the same results. This game is about 2seconds from going back. Big plays for TD's happen no less than every 5 plays. Its so stupid. I don't know how any of you guys are even standing this. It's so poorly done It's like they don't even test these games before they ship them. The rosters are off as well. Bah how sad is this *sigh.* Looks like I'll just return this one and rent it from blockbuster for the month for the league. So sad.

I don't see that they are similar in any sense. The break out ability in this game is retarded. Steve Smith don't get me wrong is a playmaker. Anytime he touches the ball he has potential of breaking one, not EVERYTIME. In every game we played as soon as I catch the ball with steve he's gone. No one catches him no matter where he is on the field really. The DB's are so weak they don't even cover hardly any routes. The pass rush is outrageous as well. I sacked my friend 11 times in the first game and he still scored over 50 O.O

It's not like we're playing bad D either, WR's will catch the ball and either just take off and are gone or they'll do some amazing break tackle. The RB's just dominate in this game and the whole offense is just soooooo high powered. The special teams is a joke. Only 1 time that I can remember did I hold him (and vice versa) from starting at least past the 30 yard line. I stopped him on the 19 and I have no idea how that screw up happened. All you have to do when you catch the ball is hit the spin button and apparently that's the same button that initiates all of your blockers to put all of the kicking team's players on their back. I can't believe they released this garbage. Is it possible that they can fix this with a patch or am I awaiting the 359 days until madden 08?

Even the times where it is a tackle for a loss, or holding to just a few yards they are ALWAYS one tackle away from the endzone. So it always feels like its an all or nothing play. And oh lord don't even try to stop someone from going for 2. It's a joke. QB sneak gets it every time unless the move all their line down, and if they do that just toss it outside instead for the money 2 points. Don't even mention Vick. That guys unbelievable if used right in this game. We figured it out how to just dominate the game with him. All you have to do is wait for the blitzing corners to get close enough to the line and then just bust it outside around them and you're free. It's so unrealistic. The field wearing is quite a bit excessive as well. I've never seen a field get so torn us as how they do in this game (outside of games played in the rain.) The graphics are great and the animations are dead on, but the gameplay is worse than last year IMHO. Everything feels staged moreso than regular. I have however made some unbelievable picks that actually should have been picked this year. First time in any madden where a legitamate easy pick was exactly that. But the screwed it up after you get the pick though because no one can catch the DB's. Ken lucas has ran back so many i don't even know what to say about that. I do understand that if you screw up you should be punished in a game. But when you get punished it should be for like an extra 5 to 10 yards. Meaning if you call a blitz to the strong size and they run it to the weak side they should get roughly 5-10 more yards than normal on the average. In this madden, it's a touchdown. The punishments for bad to moderate play calls are way way way exagerated. I've never seen someone score consistantly in the 50-70 range like you can in this game. So depressing
