Ok, let's go back a second, and establish a few things. We all want a challenge, and we all want to be able to play on the most realistic setting, right?

The only complaints I've heard (other than weird things HG has mentioned ) have been related to known money plays or to the insanely effective DB AI. All Madden does NOT get rid of the money plays, and it only increases the DB AI....Making the game garbage.

I just played a game against Matrix, a guy who tears me up through the air, and is one of the more experienced passers. He used a good passing team, the bills...and I had 7 INTs. He mixed up the run and pass, but every ball was contested, it was utterly ridiculous. Players on both sides were making an INT almost every drive. Just disgusting.

I want to hear from someone who wants this, and has had more expereince (on this setting) than myself. It's cool and all to play a game on the highest difficulty setting, but this isn't football.

All you have to do is sit in a quarter D,cover 3 or whatever and you can pick off or knock down literally every friggin ball.Mixing it up doesnt even help,play action passes just get knocked down and its next to impossible to fake out the db's.

Deep passes are totally taken out of the game,forget about ever throwing long and like Fifty said the same money plays are not fixed even with super spider-man DB reflexs defending against it.I'm not sure how to explain it but some of the ints Fifty and I saw,you would never ever see on all-pro,maybe Fifty can describe one he had with Bailey.

I made a bad playcall and matrix was about to catch it.......All of a sudden he spins 360 degrees, while jumping, and catches it with two hands. Ridiculous. Other picks involved instances of tight coverage where the cornerback would always grab the ball, linebackers catching everything, sometimes tipping it and then catching it. On a screen pass a defensive end even jumped up in the air, trying for a pick. It was seriously like the entire team was on interception-juice. It felt just as flawed as ESPN, only instead of dumb DBs, we had PHDs.

You have 72 hours to play a game until the league advances to the next round. It's up to you and your opponent to schedule a game time within that window and get the game played. If the game doesn't get played on time, it will be recorded as a tie. If during a game, one player quits or loses connection, they lose automatically.

I live in the Central time zone and would greatly prefer to play my games after 10:00 PM Central, but I'm an oddball. It seems most people would like to play their games earlier than that. I think there are a few here that can only play in the middle of the night, or something like that, so it may be difficult to get all the games in depending on your schedule.

Sounds like playing the Eagles or Falcons defense in All Pro. Which I've already had the experience of playing 5 times in season 2 and everything that you mentioned here has happened to me and more.

except you usually pass 40+ times a game bob. all-madden will only make it harder for some of the lesser players to win and easier for the people who know how to take advantage of the system. we want a more competitive league, not a less competitive

It doesn't have to do with my passing either it has to do with the fact DBs, LBs, and CBs can sky for the ball, tipping it into the hands of another defender or making some miraculous play. Over half my INTs thrown are garbage ones. Meaning that they never should have happened in the first place if the defensive players weren't super human. I'd rather have a league where we can all tip the passes in miraculous ways then restrict this advantage to the top 3 or 4 defenses in the league.

Anyway, doesn't matter 'cause I'm going back to a power running team in season 3 where I won't have to worry about that garbage as much anymore.

so let me get this straight: passing = interceptions because of garbage DB's. you don't like all the turnovers. but you pass like 50 times a game knowing that the DB's are rijockulous? what doesn't add up about that set of circumstances


besides, if you are complaining about the DB's now, wait until you get a load of all-madden.

Yes, when I see DBs flying five feet in one direction to tip a ball into another defenders hands or see them sky high 15 feet in the air or sometimes do both (Jump five feet sideway and 15 feet in the air to get an int) I call that garbage.

Like I said though, we can stay at all pro. When we played our all madden game the carolina defense basically did the same thing to your chargers offense. You couldn't move the ball at all until I started playing soft coverage.

look at nfl statistics. if you pass over 40 times a game, you are going to suffer sacks and picks. that is just how reality works. do the db's play like superhumans at time? yeah, but the numbers balance at. i still can't understand why you dont run the ball when you have the best average in the league and you are throwing 3+ picks a game. but hey, i don't understand the real life rams coach either so there you go

well fellas i already have the divisions and entire scheduling setup for season 3. how, you ask, can i have that done? well, we already know for sure who 14 of the players are in the league, and we have 3 other guys who have agreed to play (malley hasn't gotten madden yet but says he will) so we are set for people. the final 2 spots i scheduled as "team A and B", so i will simply plug that team in when we find out who is taking the final 2 spots. i think everyone will be very happy with the division setup as i made sure all of the divisions should stay competitive long into the season. ill post the divisions later if you're interested.

p.s. if anyone has preferences (time wise) in which they dont want to be in someones division, just PM me and ill take care of it. i think we're all good for times though. also, do you guys want to wait until after season 2 ends to start season 3? i know we need to know draft order, but once we get to the playoffs we can pretty much predict the top 4, and even though we dont know the exact order i doubt anyone is going to take someone elses team

Post the divisions. Also, I assumed that we'd base the team selection on the regular season record of a team, except for the SB winner, that's what we did last season, and it worked fine. I say we start season 3 on or near the start of the season 2 playoffs. They'll go by quickly anyway.

* You play everyone in your division 3 times
