Made in USA (goods you like and endorse)

Are there any "Made in USA" products you like or endorse? As I've only been to the US once, I'm sure there are way better examples than these below from people living there.

I recently bought the Schiit Fulla audio DAC/Amp (think sound card for PC) and was pretty impressed with how much better it was than my onboard sound from my PC. I'm not a massive audiophile but I do recognize the importance of sound in gaming/movie experience, so I upgraded. The knob feels great and I can't help feeling that the fact that it was made in the USA contributed to it being more premium than products from competitors like Fiio etc.

Also, I am looking to buy some jeans from Origin (better known for their Gis). The design detail and quality look amazing. Watching the brand story/product intro vids reminded me that there's a lot of beauty in the workmanship that goes into everyday things that has been lost in recent years. I would feel good about supporting this growing small business.

Other products I can think of:

Harley-Davidson (But let's be real. Many of their motorcycle parts are manufacutured globally and produced over seas. Not outsourcing in this day and age is unfeasible. You pay for brand name, history and culture, really.)

Schott Perfecto Leather Jacket
I bought one of these a few years ago and it's still stiff as hell and weighs like 7 pounds. They made the original version of this design. You can tell the thing is built to last decades. American union employee made in the same factory since the 50s.

Ford F-150 and Ford Mustang
You can tell when you sit in these cars just how high quality the build is. By all accounts, the F-150 is the best truck around, with only Toyotas coming close. They've improved it little by little over the years and it really shows. Similarly, all you have to do is sit in a Mustang and you can see and feel that it's better made than any similar American muscle car. Especially if it's a car that's been around a few years. Ford focuses on reliability and durability moreso than any other American manufacturer.

Ford?! Is this a joke post?

Ford is one of the vehicle lines assembled in America with the smallest percentage of American made parts.

Manufacturing with most cars on the list is Honda. Honda!

The F-150 is right there on the list you linked. I don't know how you can say I'm making a joke post.

Obviously, no automobile manufacturer these days is centralized in any one country. The industry is too large for that to work. But Fords are still an inherently American product, and I would say the highest quality American automobile manufacturer.

Honda follows the Japanese design philosophy of long-term, steady improvement, so they are also a high quality product that I would endorse. Ford actually has more in common with Japanese car manufacturers than any other American manufacturer, which is what makes them what they are.

Most American companies are about short term gains for shareholders with little regard for long term sustainability, while Japanese manufacturers chose the path of slow and steady growth. If you look at most American cars, they are junk.

The number one on your list, Jeep, is owned by Chrysler Fiat (most Jeeps are now Fiat products). Look at the resale value of Chrysler products. Extremely low. Because they are junk.

Tools. I've dealt with so many underperforming and broken tools over the years that whenever I have to buy a new tool or replace an old (foreign-made) one I just buy American.

Seriously. Looking at Honda parts being supplied in Western Ohio, the engines are built in Anna, the transmissions in LakeView, dash and belts in Celina, seats and materials in Sidney, frames powder coated in Lima, storage warehouse in Troy, and Accords built and tested in Marysville. Plus, JB Tool and Die in Wapakoneta made all of Honda's nuts, bolts and assembly mounts before mismanagement closed them down. I know where I grew up, everyone out of high school, not going to college, would temp for Honda because they paid the best.

Room & Board makes really nice modern furniture - I've been very happy with the purchases I've made there.

Heck, I'll also put the Second down. U.S guns are the best in the world.

A lot of the gear they issue you in the service is made in the USA. Some of it is really good quality. Others.... not so much.
