I'm really loving this game. Particularly the combat. I put Tomb Raider on pause just to come back to the visceral gunplay here.
Interestingly enough, on my second playthrough, im pretty much leaning towards actually appreciating the repetitiveness of it all. I'm running through it a second time just to experience the awesome combat and do a couple things here and there differently and the fact that the game doesn't stand in your way of just having reasons to murder any and everyone is great.
Echoing previous sentiments, using a silenced pistol to take out an area is awesome. I try my best to not stalk and hide instead just walk in and start capping dudes as quickly as possible before things go to hell. You pretty much feel like a hired hitman. Its some liam neeson levels of badassery.
Also, the wiretaps and fuses are like my biggest gripe with the game. Playing through it again, im ignoring all that and it's increased my enjoyment ten fold. I'm enjoying it so much so that it's making me mad that i didn't get the trophies for flipping the informants and bosses even though i thought i did.
