Not in the middle of declaring blockers, but you can do it when the "declare blockers" phase of the turn starts.
And that's how it's always been, even before 6th Edition, right?

And this guy is very interesting, very interesting indeed...

He's not trying to claim that he can "evoke" it with Flash to block before it sacs itself, right? Because that's total bullshit. But if he actually flashes it in (i.e., he pays the extra cost), he can bring it in after you declare attackers as a surprise blocker.
AHAHAHA

He was claiming, under pre-6th Edition rules, that he could cast it while declaring his blockers to get around the sac effect. My issue was being able to ever cast instants in the middle of declaring blockers in the first place.
I like Slumbering Dragon from a flavor standpoint, but he's unplayable.
It depends on how you're looking at him, great pressure for one mana or a bomb/win condition. He's never going to be terribly useful as a finisher.
That's what I was thinking. Thank you, everyone, for the responses!I don't think you could even play an interrupt while someone is/was in the midst of determining how they are going to block, let alone an instant.
He's a good one drop in Limited, almost no question there (although he'd become "bad" if he cost even 2 more). Constructed...eh, I was going to write this off, but on reflection I want to see if there's a R/G strategy to pump him up to five counters quickly and have a 8/8 flier by turn 4 or so.
Seems like a lot of work for 4 possible damage.![]()
Ahaha, I thought of this as well.I cannot wait to ask my opponent if he really wants to wake the dragon again
Does double-strike counts as attacking twice, thus giving SDragon two counters?
Also speaking of declaring blockers, can I assign a blocker to one creature, then cloud shift it to assign it to another attacker?
NopeDoes double-strike counts as attacking twice, thus giving SDragon two counters?
Also no. All blockers have to be assigned simultaneously, so when you cast the Cloudshift you're losing your chance to assign "more" blockersAlso speaking of declaring blockers, can I assign a blocker to one creature, then cloud shift it to assign it to another attacker?

Found some of my bros old cards, and found 3 dual lands. Pretty sure they're not aha or beta, but they are probably revised or unlimited.
How much could I sell these things for my bro

I know 2 of them are Bayou and Savanah
So how much for those 2 gaf
Bayou can be up to 75 bucks and Savannah can be from 120 to damn near 700 depending on the version and condition.
Bueno, that'll help my bro out
Also, is there a big demand for me, like if I put one on eBay, would it sell fast, or should I just sell to my hobby shop
Whatever you do, don't sell to a hobby shop. Even eBay is better.

It absolutely is. My idea is absolute shit.
But what if you needed four damage to win?
lol
Hmm, looks like M13 pre-orders are offering slightly lower prices on the dual lands. Might pull the trigger and order the full set.
There's plenty of absurd cards/combos that "just win games" if you get them off but you have to get them off.
Which Duals did they decide on for M13?

The m10 ones. Sunpetal Grove, etc

What kinda price are you guys getting for M13 box preorders? I haven't been able to find a good deal...
