Loved this movie has a youngster. Still love it today. It tickles me to see it in the Netflix top ten. It's definitely got some things you wouldn't have in a comedy today. What do you guys think?

This thread made me rewatch the movie on Netflix, and yeah it really holds up great, but I gotta be honest, there is zero chance this movie is made today.

Seeing the main character call his love interest "woman" like 25 times is just hillarious

Being n the Marines for 15 years, I can honestly say that this movie is the closest to how Marines act around each other. The movie is just fantastic.
