I posted about this yesterday.

I've had a Leef USB flash drive plugged in since launch for local save backups and it's served its purpose blending in. It was a little stiff pulling out the first few times (haha) but there's a little slot you can poke something like a paper clip in to lever it out until it eases up.

It's averagely slow in transfer rates but plenty for save backups and should be a good fit for music playback.

When you format USB memory with the PS4 it should automatically create a MUSIC folder, and others for various media types, SHARE, saves etc.

ive seen an adapter for 4 USB ports made for the PS4 from some 3rd party accessory company. it looks to be on the same angle as the PS4.

I hate rear USB ports for any USB flash drive use. So ++ for including 2 in the front. I do love rear USB ports for recharging controllers. Just leave the cable back there...

They generally don't. But there was one instance on Ps3 in which it did brick a bunch of ps3's. I know because my friends was bricked. That was only one firmware update though. I don't know how small or big it was widespread. But it was enough.

I think the last one that did something like that only affected people who had a certain model of HDD, the one's who had the stock HDD were fine. That's the only thing that worries me in swapping Hdds (that and I'm lazy to redownload everything) but eventually I will have to. only have 100GB free atm.

No, he only can take control of your game with shareplay but no "local" multiplayer.

Publishers can NOT opt-out with Share-Play. Publishers can only opt-out of Share-Play in Beta's and Alpha's. Publishers can also block cinematics in a game being share-played to "prevent spoilers" (kind of like streaming). Majority won't bother, some will.

I like the new app. It's pretty clean with everything you'd want to access right in front of you. You can now see all the content in the "What's new" section exactly how it is displayed on the ps4 vs. the abbreviated version on the old app.
