I think it's there already - under which notifications to show in the settings there's an option for user activity. Maybe it's disabled server side.

So still no news on the suspend feature then? that is one of the main features that appealed to me on the PS4, just being able to come home and hit the PS button on my controller and everything turn on, tv, amp etc and just continue playing from where I left off, I really hope this is coming still.

also its still having trouble waking up from rest mode, i hold the power button to soft reset and it says the PS4 diddnt turn off corectly again, man why the hell cant shit just work!!!

What I am really excited for is HBO is going to be offering a sub without having to have cable. Which means, I can finally cut the cord from comcast and have my GoT. With an app on the ps4, I can still watch it on my tv instead of using a laptop.

I did not unplug it.

PS4 was in standby prior, and got the update that way.

Agreed! I cannot wait to take my receiver into Comcast and tell them to shove it and their shitty customer service where the sun don't shine. Maybe not, though, as I still need them for internet, lol but my bill will go from $158 a month to $54.00 a month.

Three things on the USB player:

The need to have a MUSIC folder on the thumbdrive will be the cause of much tech support. Silly decision.

And, of course I just grabbed an old thumb drive and loaded it with some tunes (it is ok with subfolders within MUSIC so that's good), and I plan on leaving it there just for that purpose. It was already was being used for local save backup. But now when I boot it assumes I've just inserted the thing and defaults to that icon, which is a bit silly.

Finally, the PS button long-press access to the 'brief' music player is good - it's always been there - but the new verbiage about Rest Mode and layout of the screen pushes it 'below the fold' which is silly, as you can't see it at first, and have to dpad your way down to it, minor annoyance but they should float that player to the top when it is active.

This was a headache initially for me with videos on the PS3. So dumb.

You need to put the MUSIC folder on the root of USB. Don't put in the PS4 folder. I did this too.
