Well messaging has gone back to the same old shit, after working almost flawlessly immediately after the update.

- Outgoing messages getting stuck at 97% for 10 seconds before sending.

- Outgoing messages disappearing once sent.

- Incoming messages are notification only until some random time that the actual message comes through.

yeah just updated everything and music works fine but..it will clash with destinys (which has like..6 songs maybe..so after 140 hours it gets old)

No they don't. An interview posted yesterday I think in the share play thread specifically said that every single game will have it, only certain cutscenes and spoilers can be blocked.

Destiny theme has awesome music! This is awesome!

Oh my god it's the main theme! Not even a short loop or anything! 3 minutes so far, Ive heard three different songs from one theme!

Imagine all those custom themes

Didn't know themes were so important to people until I read some of the posts here So much angst! Fantastic update overall in my opinion. Sure, some of the features should have been there earlier (especially pause downloads), but the number of improvements it has brought to the OS is undeniable. Btw, tried Shareplay and I really believe it could be a truly revolutionary feature that MS and others will surely try to emulate in the coming years.

cant beat geography and poor internet connection between two ISPs. With 12,500 km away, it is not possible to have good internet connection between the two... if things were perfect, there would be at least 0.25s lag and if ISPs are not the best, a lo more.

It is easy to find out by doing trace of the IP of your friend.

Yeah, apparently the host has to have a excellent upload speed, if you don't there will be input lag. Watching my friend trying to play Destiny today was like watching a 5 year old play his first FPS. He couldn't aim worth a shit.

hold power button for 10+ seconds... if that does not restart it, power cycle it by taking the cord out for 10+ seconds. It has been posted a lot of the times in the thread.

that someone can actually play west to east coast without too much lag is amazing.

It costs over 100ms to ping across the pacific ocean. The lower limit is bound by, you know, the speed of light.

speed is not the real problem - most people have 5Mbs at least.... problem is latency between the servers. Further away you are, higher the latency and unplayable the "servers".

It has to be decent connection in the same or near state.
