I've seen some fucked up shit in my time using the internet, but nothing has moved me to the level of some of these photos. I feel physically sick seeing these photos of bodies.

People here worried about WWIII need to realize that this will only lead to further Russian distancing from the problem that is the Donetsk region.

Unless thing get more messed up, that is.

This is absolutely terrible. If it was those fucking "rebels" I hope this will have consequences.

Also not doing the mistake of clicking on pictures of such a tragedy again. I don't have the stomach for it.

If this got shot down then it had to be some military grade weapons as I doubt separatists could get their hands on high grade military weapons. (So the rumours of Russia shooting it down "could" be true"

But if this plane crashed then I personally think the Malaysian Airlines/Government need to retest every pilot...

2 planes in a year from the same airline company is messed up.

Surely if this plane flew through it, that means many others must've done before it?

Because why would one pilot knowingly fly over that airspace if there was any genuine risk that they might come to harm?

CNN reporting it came apart at altitude. That could be a catastrophic internal explosion or a missile.

BTW: TWA Flight 800 crashed on this date in 1996.

It's a really unfortunate event, but what will happen here is both sides will point the finger at the other and allies of both Ukraine and Russia/Separatists will increase their funding for each side.

It's really heartbreaking to see those pictures. Most of those people were likely alive until they hit the ground. Imagine the terror they must have had while falling.

NOS reporting:
Someone from D-reizen confirmed that there were 25 Dutch passengers booked onto that flight.
They can't give a confirmed number about the actual number of people who actually checked in...

I mean it sounds like no-one should have ever been flying across it. Who knows how big the "no-fly zone" is, could be this plane only went through it to avoid weather or something, but it seems kinda... negligent.
