I think they just have an "only the strongest survive" attitude that literally applies to everything, including turning the academy upside down. So if the strongest chefs truly are in Central, they'll graduate and be badass/innovate.
According to the beginning of the manga, it's not like that many people graduate anyways. Seems like the elite ten are usually the majority of the graduating class.
I've started reading Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction because I need more Asano. Very good series, not quite sure where it is going yet but it is super off-kilter and fun to read

I'm not sure making a public threat like this is a good idea. From what I can see, most of the people who download this stuff are foreigners who can't even support the original artist anyway unless they pay ridiculous fees and a proxy service to import it to them in physical form.

Interesting premise, a bunch of kids living on an island, living in a state of paranoia due to a certain incident that happen before and when they live on that island. It start out good, since we don't really know if the kids fear are justified or not, but then, rapist teacher appear, and of course they should be afraid of adult if they let sexual predator like him goes free. One of the teacher let him go even after he try to sexual assault her. Holy crap, now that is bad move.
After that, the group children try to escape while discovering the mystery of Hoozuki island along the way. And the end of it was underwhelming. Like, seriously, when the twist was delivered, i was like, REALLY!?
So yeah, interesting premise, weak execution, unnecessary fanservice, and twist not delivered well.

Yeah that industry always seemed to care little about most foreign exports.
Some artist do deal better with such things like Shindol, getting told how many copies you lost can be discouraging. There is still probably a lot of japanese that pirate the stuff. He seems to be dealing with other problems if he fears to be dropped from that magazine. I mean they can't drop him because of lost sales on piracy when other artist on there are probably dealing with the same if not a lot worse. It's a shame when artist lose their will to work
Yeah, but ShindoL has a Patreon. Not many Japan-based artists have adopted Patreon as a way to make money yet. He also happens to be originally from the US and speaks english on top of that.

How weird is being a patreon support for eroge manga?
There seems to be a japanese only equivalent called enty around where some notable hentai artist are already like siwasunookina. The layout looks a lot like patreon and is available in english. Even the '______' is creating '______' statement at the top is the same as patreon, it really is rather obvious where the inpsiration came from.
edit:From his page it seems siwasu makes around 160 thousand yen per month from this thing. Incentives are what you expect.

Well, that was weird. What I'm not getting is if she refers to Kaneki or another ghoul. Kaneki is so suspicious right now, I just have no idea what he wants to do. Why is he crossing those dates and why is hind like that?
And I really want to see what's the deal with V, Arima and Furuta. Excellent chapter.
SAd truth and it seems probably he become bitters when he knows that the pirated copies exceed the amount of sold copies. More Japanese should learn on how ShindoL opened a patreon account.

it puts some of the stuff from original TG into perspective, if Aogiri's enemies are both V and CCG.
Kanou mentioned the world is in a cage that he wanted to destroy, Anteiku raid that happened right after V telling Yoshimura to go die probably wasn't a coincident (they also talked about balance and Yoshimura can't escape from the cage).
So apparently Doflamingo is the final boss

Didnt realize one of my fav SoTaku artists was selling a MikaYuu (owari no serafu] doujin anthology, 140+ pages of glorious mikayuu goodness, ordered.
So I decided to jump back on the thread, as now I'm actually required to read a lot of for my project. Done a lot of catching ups from neglected series as well as finding new favorites:

to be fair Shiwasu no Okina is probably only making the equivalent of 800 USD a month in reality. To calculate what people actually make off of enty, you might as well divide by 2 after taxes and fees.
Honto no Kanojo is a pretty fun series that finished recently.
Well I can't refuse a recommendation from Imperial Girl! Noted.

It probably has to do with eating Eto's kagune which may be the reason why his arm looks like some scaly dragon's arm.
