This basically sums up Eto's speech lol. Anyway since Eto declared she isn't the OEK than that means the original one is either dead or still alive somewhere. However, the new OEK might possibly be Kaneki because he's shown his worth through his strength.
Eating Eto's kagune must caused this weird mutation. It seems like Kaneki might be counting the days till Hinami's execution which the papers may be bull prints of cochela. The V revelation makes so much sense because in the original Tokyo Ghoul we were shown a bodyguard next to Kanou. And who could that bodyguard be, your one and only Arima. So the reason why Kanou defected from CCG might be because he wanted to be released from the birdcage that is V. In this chapter we then find out Arima and Furata are connected to V. Damn was this a good chapter.
Also Matsuri's wife is hot.

I know this all a set up for the next arc but holy shit everything about this arc screamed "THIS IS THE END" and no one thought the manga was going to continue but holy shit that twist just dropped a fucking bomb on this manga.
Literally everybody fucking died to get Narumi to this one point, sacrificing themselves to end the horror of the dolls forever and...it's a fucking fake Francine. Absolutely unreal.
The body count for this arc was a mountain.

it looks like Aogiri is still looking for the OEK rather than already having one in their organization, so yeah all signs point to Kaneki

This entire arc was absolutely stellar. This has to be the best 'pack it up folks, it's ending' fakeout I've ever seen.
The entire buildup was insane. It screams THIS IS THE END. It's labelled FINAL ACT. And then it's not. And the realization that every sacrifice, every dead body was in vain hits you like a truck and everything crumbles down.
I lack the words to properly express how I felt when reading those last couple chapters.
Absolutely brilliant.

I think it implied that Kaneki will be OEK and the chapter's name was also Second King.
The dates could refer to Hinami's execution, and the time when he makes his decision.
Seems like Murata is working on/did a big drawing with a lot of his characters, he's been tweeting pictures all day.

Great chapter but I'm a tad but confused. What is V? And if Arima is actually a Ghoul that would explain why he is so powerful.
Never mind, I reread some past chapters to jog my memory.

V is a so called organization that keeps the balance between Ghouls and Humans. They're the reason why Yoshimura killed his wife and left Eto all alone. Plus they're connected to CCG in some way. In the original Tokyo Ghoul they're shown confronting Yoshimura.

Yep, I read past chapters. This makes the revelations Ishida dropped even more amazing. I think Arima is the original prototype of rc experimentation. It's the only way to explain why he is stupidly powerful. That begs the question: How connected is V to CCG?
When the time is right. He disappeared into thin air.

Maybe he thinks he killed him so he's keeping it all to himself.
Heck at this point I don't want to imagine all the shit he's keeping inside him. I'm suprised he's even sane at this point, although he could just be keeping all his insanity inside himself. Then again Ishida has drawn the new Kaneki insane looking recently so who knows.

This is really good. Premise is Japan is at war with an unknown enemy that you slowly come to learn more about in each chapter. Though mainland Japan is entirely at war, the middle school students who live on one of the smaller islands in Japan aren't as badly affected until one day, the country declared that for the 5th period of every Saturday selected students at the school will be sent out to participate in the war. Heavy drama with light romance from the author of Wolf Children.

Yeah, Kaneki is so hard to read right now. I'm not sure if he supports ghouls, CCG or neither. And I have no idea what he thinks of Arima, the little glimpse we had of his thoughts during his fight with Eto seemed to indicate deep hatred.

Yup I think that might be something for a relative/friend. Pretty neat.
Girls of the wilds 224 - The deed is done. Still feel really sorry for DalDal. Wonder how the story will continue now. You could at this point see DalDal written out or going off on her totally separate story thread where she deals with the pain and eventually I guess finds rebound guy. Or of course she goes yandere.
Oh that's pretty neat. Can't wait for the final version.
Haven't read Binbougami yet, but maybe Is My Hobby Weird? and Hitoribocchi no OO Seikatsu would fit the bill?

ShindoL's a fellow filthy gaijin so it only makes sense he'd be aware of how fucked the "industry" here is and actually try to do something about it. I guess theres also Fakku ditching all the pirated stuff for paid mag subs & anthology's but they tend to release the safest most boring shit possible so zzzzzzzz
This is a great theory. When Kaneki says 'time is precious' it could be due to him needing to set this raid up as a distraction, and would parallel the original's raid also being a distraction to infiltrate Cochlea.
Hide is a Washuu so he's automatically in cahoots with V.
Arima has been kinda hinted to have a kakugan. He's clearly not normal.
Maybe even for this, memory recovered, Kaneki this part was, just like it was shown to us, a blank. He was going crazy at that point so even he doesn't know though he probably fears or is convinced of the worst.

Getting legal versions is so easy today too. Don't want to pay import fees, proxy fees, shipping fees for the physical book? Grab it online from DMM or DLSite and if 1080yen is too much still, wait for a sale. DMM seems to have some sale every month.
Also there's FAKKU with their monthly sub to get access to translated Wani magazines.
There is Patreon, there is enty.jp, there is pixiv.
People that really want to support an artist but have limited finances have so many options today.
Wani wouldn't drop Gujira just because his stuff gets pirated a lot, otherwise they would have dropped everyone of their artists already, given they have the hottest ones published in all their various magazines, and those get pirated a lot too, but I feel his depression about that number understandable, since I don't believe porn manga to pull in the numbers normal manga usually do, so seeing 25k illegal downloads must feel devastating.

I was waiting until the most recent chapters to reply to this.
The whole point of this arc was to basically devalue their deaths by making their sacrifice all in vain.
I knew this was going to happen since I read 3 volumes in advance of the scanlations, but this was pretty much the huge turning point of the series for me.
