Somewhere along the line she also fails a few sanity checks, which is presumably what'll make this story interesting. The extent of her stability is still TBC, but assuming she's moderately unhinged I'll get some enjoyment out of this.

I second Law of Ueki and Jojo is an obvious one as well. There are some other series I would recommend on the tip of my tongue that I just can't remember.

I'm really interested in the payoff for this and hope it's worthy of the suspense they've built. If she's just a crazy lady obsessed with her son it won't be nearly as fascinating, I really hope the build up leads to something better based on Happiness (which is also good).

Later in I have to give it to the writer, they actually step back from the edge a bit. It's still not gonna win any awards or anything but I genuinely didn't see some of the plot twists coming and they made the series a lot more interesting.

Goblin Slayer on the other hand is pure edge. Will be avoiding that one.
