There's really nothing like A Silent Voice.
Wandering Son might come close but it's very plodding and less plot driven.
I was thinking maybe I would like Orange. I guess a good High School drama would also do.

A Silent Voice Vol 2-7
I couldn't stop reading after each volume. I had to find out what happened. To build friendships based on their own selfish reasons to destroying that once the motives got out there. It tooking Shoya almost dying for him to see that he just wanted to hangout with these people and not expect anything in return.
There are somethings I wanted to see happen at the end but it did leave a satisfying ending. I hoped there was going to be a conversation between Shoya and Kei/Kazuki to get some kind of closure. I guess them saving his life and working on the movie was their closure for what happened in elementary school.
My favorite character in the series had to be Yuzuru.
Not a fan of Miki and Naoka.
At the end they left to get married right?
I need to see this movie, hopefully someone will license it for NA.
Any other manga sort of like this I should read next?
1) Why is manga predominately black and white?
2) What are the thoughts on these series?
Vinland Saga, Claymore, Blade of the Immortal, Ajin: Demi-Human
3) Which series are these?
Manga publishers are pretty miserly and traditional, and monochrome printing is cheaper than color printing.1) Why is manga predominately black and white?

1. Making a weekly manga is very time consuming. Black and white is easier.
All Sato wanted was to play Tetris
You do realize a good portion of series and magazines aren't weekly, right?
Just ordered my first physical manga, Berserk Volume 1
I just kind of gotten used to the right to left style reading digitally, I wonder if it'll be harder to adjust reading a physical book that way

Is there manga with more beautiful art than Innocent Rouge?
Wow, I totally forgot about Hiramoto Akira. Definitely up there. Vagabond is great too, not really feeling the faces on the third one but the detail is stunning.Sakomoto is a very, very good artist - but Vagabond, Me and the Devil's Blues and Otoyomegatari are at least equal.
what a great artist

Dunno if there are any Uraboku fans here besides me, but thought I'd post this just in case:

On one hand, I can't believe it's ending. On the other, it went through a really long hiatus, so I guess it's a small miracle we got more chapters after that anyhow. Ugh, I'm gonna be a mess if D. Gray-Man ever gets a similar announcement...cancelled, more like
Oh...fuck me, I think I'll have to re-read this entire thing. Fell off after vol.16 and all I can remember are conspiracy theories, devil agreements and turning shit into mushrooms is really, really, freaking overpowered.Dorohedoro #151
Because this wasn't hard to follow already.

1. Mostly for cost reason, the colored one are reserved only to popular series and usually released at later date, with premium price too. Some example: Jojo Bizarre adventure, Dragon ball, Naruto receive color edition.1) Why is manga predominately black and white?

Yup, that butt slap is totally covering the sound of her fart.Keijo ch134
I know what I'll say when I pass gas now.
I predict Kogatana will join Nozomi's harem by the end of this arc.
Prison School ch244
Well, that neck got hung.
Haikyuu 240
Hoshiumi is good though if Karasuno faces them, I cant begin to imagine the outcome.
Also Kags being all friendly is sweet.

You do realize the ones that aren't weekly usually produce significantly more pages than the weekly ones, per chapter, right? Manga artists are barely sleeping and working crazy hours as it is
I'm glad you liked it. I recommend a series called Forget Me Not, which I personally like more. It's also finished at 7 volumes. I'll link my review of the first volume, but know that it is the weakest, though still good, and it gets exponentially better with each volume https://www.taykobon.com/content/forgetmenot1
