Its kind of weird. He's the same year as Erina but she's already on this special council thing; I'm not sure it even makes sense if Soma could actually skip Erina's seat.

She'll probably slide into the 9th spot and Soma will go into the 10th unless I'm forgetting how the chair system works.

Shokugeki no Soma 39

So we have our arc villain I guess, looking forward to the autumn election

Edit:

Wasn't Water 7 2004-2005 in the manga? Not a decade yet but pretty close to it

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"

"He" as in soma or the new guy because new guy is in Second year like Isshiki.

I don't think she would allow it either so unless she moves up also (either taking the mentioned seat and Soma gets 10 or goes higher)

Should be interesting to see how this goes since the other dorm members are in and have to fight (lets see what Barbeque guy can do since we haven't seen anything plus he was the one that mentioned Isshiki was holding back during that challenge with Soma earlier on) plus Alice

Tadokoro new 10th seat

haha

nice to see she has something else going on that doesn't get massively crippled by her anxiety

So is that mega bomba status for World Trigger volume 2? Sold about as much as a guide book to a series that ended months ago. Glad to see Soma > Nisekoi

Shokugeki no Soma 39

Don't think I've ever mentioned it, but this girl is right up there with Erina and Nikumi as one of the hottest looking girls shown so far.

Had a good laugh with the panels during the super serious ping pong match.

The new guy nails down the villain look. Hopefully, he continues to act as a jerk to Soma even after the election.

Shokugeki no Soma 39

Pretty fun chapter despite having rather little food.

In any case, let's see where this goes after chapter 50.

So I'm wanting to catch up on all current wsj (english wsj) mangas and I'm just wondering if Zexal is any good, and what chapter is it on?

I like Luffy. He's a simple chap and it works out well as this reflection of his crew, where, when needed, he can step up and dattebayo and shit.

I haven't read OP since Marineford so perhaps this has changed, dunno. But it's a series that doesn't demand a complicated lead, and his domineering proactivity (in contrast with some of the moral wimps that grace other shonen battle series) is really appealing.

It really is. It's a nice change of pace from the usual sort of protagonists we tend to get.

So I only learned now the bullshit about Break Blade rights issue. It's one of those situations that makes me wish the worst on publishers and authors.
Fuck you Holp Shuppan, hope you end up like Flex Comics.

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Isnt one piece still within the top 5 in Japan? I know it was number 1 for a long time but idk where it currently is.

It's still the best-selling manga in Japan. Every volume sells 2 million within a couple weeks.
I don't get how Luffy being "ugly" (which is subjective) means the series is losing money. Hell, the merchandising alone makes enough to feed a third world country for a year.

Also, killing off Luffy? What the fuck are you on?
