Karish I love your Ubuntu wallpaper, it's very clean and (I'd like to think) a subtle jab at XP's default.

I can't imagine having a wallpaper be someone looking straight at you. My computer is a dead terminal, I don't want a staring contest when I log on.

No Vista desktop this month, I'm currently doing a complete Vista overhaul, thanks to a couple of friends who gave me a proper but still not yet completed skinning engine I'm going to attempt to blend my current XP skin with a very famous concept called "Aero Reloaded".

If I can recreate the resources and import my own and get everything working 100%, I'll release it as a GAF-Vista exclusive. Here's what I'm talking about:

The Vista Expose-esque Flip3D is already done and completed, it's just not public yet. So we're 10% there! oh and it runs smoother then any other expose/flip3d mod and even flip3d itself.

so um guys i know nothing about desktops. btw i have OSX. Can someone teach me to make it look like Khalid-S's desktop? like change the toolbar or add widgets. I don't even know where and how to install widgets and stuff for the dashboard. I'm jealous of all your cool desktops.

What is this taskbar that everyone uses? I hardly ever come into desktop threads since I almost never change my background, but when I do practically everyone's taskbar looks like that.

thats windows vista. Plus a lot of people use vista skins on xp
