Just read the NXT spoilers for April. I guess they really are trying to make this late era ECW. Uuuuuugggggghhhhh.
That's what I was talking about. Kalisto gets a dark match but Khali gets squash match on TV.
I'd argue that they are working on characters in the old school manner....squash matches to build the character, and then we'll get to some actual feuds. They're using the characters that are already there like Sami Zayn, Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas to give us some actual feuds and they fill in the rest with WWE stars.
It's not a bad way to start a program, and I certainly look at NXT Arrival as the new starting point for NXT. I think they're putting the idea in their NXT Superstars that NXT is a long haul and early call-ups might be a thing of the past. I hope so at least because it takes time to develop a character the way they are....and there are plenty of eyes on NXT already. It wouldn't be a bad thing for wrestlers to work both NXT and Raw at the same time as well.

My thing is, Khali and Brodus are dog shit. They've had their chances, their mega pushes. They fucking suck. They are Ascension level. If they want to give guys like Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Drew McIntyre, etc to get some action, I'm cool with that. Bit not brahs that can't do shit when gold was handed to them. Fuck off Vince.
Looking at the spoilers though all 4 hours are filled with squash matches and the "stars" are lower card jobbers. I don't mind if someone like Cesaro comes down and has a great match but why would you give 10 minutes out of a 1 hour show for Khali when there's actual development talents that aren't getting tv time?
Khali...yeah, I'd agree with you there. But Brodus Clay.....it depends if he is down there for an appearance or down there to learn in developmental again. I think he could grow because he gets some things right, even if he is terrible in the ring.
Anytime any comment like that are made to any woman anywhere is a big deal.

Yeah seems a pretty shitty thing to chant even if she works as a heel; she could do with playing down the fact she's Flair's daughter though, that's all there is to her gimmick at the moment.
Her and Sasha Banks kind of have a Beautiful People / Laycool thing going with the BFFs....wish they would let Summer Rae be on NXT more though, but she's probably too much of Fandango's act to separate them and have her travel down to Orlando.

The Summer Rae head on a stick bit is pretty funny, though. They and Bayley are pretty good at playing off each other.
I think the Flair's daughter stuff will go away eventually. She's still relatively new as an on-screen character so they need something to help her get attention.
Maybe a better wrestler, but I think his match quality went downhill. Most HBK matches post-comeback always seem to be HBK getting the shit beat out of him for 90% of the match, and then winning with a superkick OUTTA NOWHERE.

I see it as destiny conspiring to have things happen as they should.
If Bryan have excellent matches and him getting the belt really becomes a Wrestlemania moment; people will be talking for years about the series of unforseen events that lead to it.

I had some people over that I introduced to the network (Wrestling newbies, tried to show them a men's match, but they requested AJ, so I was happy to oblige). Regardless, they quickly requested just that, some health bars and critical indicators.
Though they realised quickly enough that Kaitlyn's spear was a finisher.

80s Hogan just had a second health bar that signified Hulk Up mode.
Cena has a Street Fighter 4 like special meter that scales the damage for his finisher.
