Hell, I went to see this when I was a kid. The one here was different in spots (no Luigi, Mario "jumped" on his enemies, and they played a neat orchestral "beat a stage" tune whenever he did) but the general idea was the same. I assume this was some kind of TV edit sandwiched with other Ice Capades or gaming themes or something

Man, I had no idea Nintendo ice capades existed. I remember all the disney ones... but never a Nintendo one. Guess I was just too young to remember.

haha! I remember going to this! Sad thing was It was a shared event with Barbie. So I had to sit through damn Barbie on Ice before Mario Bros came out. Then they took kids from the audience and pushed em around in bricks/question blocks. Good times.
