I'm getting worried about comments regarding the AI in this game being ridiculous like Mario Kart Wii.

I'm tempted to check Gamerama in Toronto, as they're the local mom n' pop shop known for breaking street dates, but even if they had it, I'm not sure I feel like trekking all the way uptown. If Shoppers doesn't come through for me (like they did a week early for Brawl) while I'm out this afternoon, I'll just wait until the weekend. ;_;

There is no such option as "No Blue Shell". But the Blue Shell is kinda rare, don't worry...

Is it like the Wii version where you have 'basic items' 'no items' 'all items', or how are they grouped anyway? Are there limitations that can be applied to the track list? Must the community be set to Battle, or Racing? I'm guessing there will be a Battle Mode GAF community and Racing Mode.

You use R for tricks. There are replays in SP, not in MP.
The options are: Mode (50cc, 100cc, 150cc, Mirror, Balloon Battle, Coin Battle) and Items (All, Shells, Bananas, Mushrooms, Bob-ombs, None)
The settings can't be changed after creating the community/lobby.
Oh shi.
By the way, i saw a japanese box, red with the little icons inside the "eco friendly" box.
...? my european box doesn't have the awesome item drawings and the box is not red
How's the US one? other games like Fox or Mario 3D Land do have the little icons in the box...

Yeah it is, there's a lot of strategy there but it probably takes a ton of skill.
there will be a revision that incorporates the steering wheel add-on so it would be best to wait, tbh.
