Punisher seems like a given, if they can nail down a showrunner. Moon Knight plz.
Yeah but still a little frustrating considering he's starring in a TV show this fall. The guy says yes to TV shows, so it would be a good opportunity to develop his character.

But people want Hawguy... which the MCU Hawkeye is not. Better off to introduce his brother and saddle him with all that. Then have Renner do guest spots or whatever.

Who is "people" though? At no point were I of the impression, that people on here at least, wanted Jeremy Renner to be replaced.

Why is the title "Avengers Assemble"?

Now can we PLEASE stop the rumors about Iron Fist series being canceled ? =P

They could always up the number of shows they bring out.

It doesn't look like they're doing that when Luke Cage isn't coming out until November. If they were upping to three per year, Luke would be out this summer and something else would be this November.

I suppose they could go to three shows in 2017, though. Iron Fist's delays might be interfering with going to three shows this year (but you'd think they could squeeze out a JJ season).

Barely a year between DD Season 1 and Season 2 so why make the gap between JJ season 1 and 2 any bigger than that? or at least no bigger than 18 months. 3 series in 2017 seems plausible to me. Have Defenders soon enough after Iron Fist? March, July, November?

I can't even imagine the stress on the writing and TV group that's come from their success.

They signed on for something, and it's grown and there's a ton of critical acclaim and eyes on them. It's a good, happy thing I'm sure... but man, oh man!

Logistics. Daredevil was the first show to get made and they renewed it right after. When they renewed Daredevil, only Jessica Jones was shooting at the time. Luke Cage had no showrunner, Iron Fist had no showrunner, Punisher wasn't part of the conversation, Defenders was still years away. When Jessica Jones came out, Daredevil S2 and Luke Cage were shooting, and they were actively looking for a showrunner for Iron Fist. By the time they announced Jessica Jones' renewal, they're already thinking about Punisher and Defenders as well, and Iron FIst has a showrunner and they're in the casting stage. More and more moving pieces means it can be harder to make snap decisions like they did early on.

That's the second time I've seen you type "Luke Cage" instead of "Iron Fist" lol.

I think the Jessica Jones Twitter account just announced when Luke Cage is coming out...

So I guess they're shelving Cage for 4-5 months to space it out further from DD S2, instead of premiering it when it's done in June or July? Disappointing, albeit understandable.

(For reference, JJ and both seasons of DD started filming about nine months before their premiere dates; a November premiere would be 14 months after Cage started filming, and it seems highly unlikely that either its production or post-production would be significantly longer than the other shows.)
