Wouldn't Hulk just kill those guys?

Well, Hulk typically doesn't kill.

Banner, on the other hand, is a totally different beastie. There's this early 2000s comic flashback where it shows sixteen year old Banner trying to blow up his school after a bout of particularly bad bullying. He almost succeeded, too.

I guess that is what happens (with Banner anyway) when you don't separate the intellect and rage.

Why does he wear the mask!?

Here's a clean version of the Gamora variant.

Very nice.

Who in their right mind would make fun of someone when the Hulk is sitting right next to him.

He's also a bad example in how to behave when getting bullied.

Is there a Namor cover?

Spider-man makes sense considering he WAS bullied as a kid.

The X-men makes sense because well its the freaking X-men. Being outsiders is kinda their thing.

Marvel cant be that petty just because they dont have the movie rights. Can they?

They are. Tom Brevoort has said as much fairly bluntly.

I don't mind. And I'm a life-long Spider-Man obsessive! I've been enjoying the hell out of pretty much everything but Spidey and the X-Men being pushed, considering the opposite was true for all of my life up to the last few years. Spidey and Wolverine were pushed to the detriment of the characters, or have we already forgotten how bad it could be?

More DnA GotG please.

Spider-Man will be fine. He probably won't get the limelight anytime soon since Marvel will be focusing on their film properties, but at the same time Marvel is very comfortable with using him. I think part of this is due to the relationship they have with Sony, as well as successfully negotiating to gain back 100% control over the TV cartoon and merchandising rights a few years ago.

X-Men and Fantastic Four are an entirely different beast. Merchandise has slowed to a crawl for both of them because Marvel won't let anything release so long as Fox profits from it.

Nope, only Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket & Groot, Cap, Hulk, as well as someone from The Avengers that didn't already get a cover & someone from The Inhumans.

Having been bullied myself, I wonder how a cover of Cap beating up a kid would've helped. I did however spent numerous hours pondering how tough bullies would be if I were Spiderman, or had Spiderman on my side.

beating up a kid? he's stopping him geezus

Are these anti-bullying? The message other than the cap one is "yea you are bullied or an outcast, but it's okay, things will be fine"

I feel like a more effective message would be Star Lord going to the bully's parents meth-lab and showing them how their life choices are trickling down to the child.

Yeah I'm not sure picturing tall muscular guys ready to bully the bullies sends the right message... the covers with GotG are much better in that aspect.

That Gamora cover has such vivid autumn colours and a frame that's immediately familiar and a bit sad, which is why it's by far the best one.

That said, that 'Who?' quip was just perfect.

The Captain America one looks really bad. The art seems weird.

Love the Hulk one, and I wish I ate lunch with Rocket and Groot.

Gamora & Star-Lord are tied for my favorite. The art for Gamora's is outstanding, & the joke in Star-Lord's is just flawless.

Really like the style of the Rocket Raccoon one, but I have to agree the Gamora one is best. Great perspective.
