I wonder how high the CCU peak will be this weekend. In any case, very strong debut for Marvel Rivals. Netease is probably pleased.

Played a few matches. Caught the same highs as Ow1 launch. Even with it being unbalanced af, having 30+ heroes at launch with no role queue (yet) definitely is the right move. People will be digging into this finding the right strats for a good while.

Tried this out this morning on PS5.

It's ridiculously polished like the budget must have been something insane for what you get for free. Quite astonished as the organisation of the battle pass how the story mode works and how many characters are available.

The down side is the gameplay is just spam attacks and its really hard to know what's landed and what hasn't. Each game is a chaotic mess of randomly spamming until something happens.

Wolverine is way under powered and you die every 5 seconds his attacks are distance based with lunges etc but it's hard to hit them.

Played as cap and his shield abilities are useless and doc strange had no idea what each one of his does.

I just read no cross progression which to me is an utter failure in 2025.

"X is going to kill Overwatch" is every bit as fun as the "X is going to WoW" was.

Also funny how this shit all over the whole "nobody asked for/wants gaas hero shooters".
