Probably won't be a problem for me as I've got some fightpads and an SE, but that's good to hear anyways.
So you can use it like the FADC, but you can only use it once?
This isn't FADC, it's the biggest game changer ever. You can use it like FADC but it has so much more application and possibilities.
ANYTHING you are doing gets cancelled immediately. Even block stun is cancelled. Moves that were punishable before become safe. Moves that were safe before are now punishable. Moves that could not be followed up can now be comboed off of.
It also gives you a massive boost in power, speed and regeneration (plus I am fairly sure it gives you increased stamina as well, I saw Thor who had X-Factor take almost negligible damage from a fairly long and otherwise damaging combo). You basically instantly heal all your red health. The upgrade is global, it applies to all your characters.
In addition, the less characters you have the more devastating it is. If all your characters are alive, roughly 10% boost to attributes lasting 10 seconds. 2 characters remaining, 20% boost lasting 20 seconds. If you have only one character left, you get insane attribute boosts and your X Factor lasts a whopping 30 secs. (Boost percentage are estimates and not indicative of actual value. X Factor upgrades vary from character to character, some get faster others get high damage).
Basically a team of 3 who has used up their X Factor goes up against 1 character who has his X Factor is still a match. Using your X Factor is a BIG DEAL, you better be sure you are taking out at least one of their characters (or saving yours) otherwise you can be at a huge disadvantage later in the game.
X Factor brings huge strategic and surprising game play to the mix. It essentially raises the hype level of a match to stratospheric levels.
And LAWL @ DAT thread title!
