I noticed a lot of games run it close, timer wise. I'd guess a lot of games will end in timeouts with lesser damage and the same exact 99 seconds.

That might be a problem, no?
Maybe 150 seconds would be preferable to 120.

It is simultaneously amusing and frustrating to all of a sudden see people everywhere complaining about mad high damage from relatively straightforward combos. What rock have all of these people supposedly "hyped" for this game been living under for the past several months?

I'm going to watch 6 hours of Buktooth's crew lay the smack down to take my mind off the wave of stupid that has washed over the entire Internet today.

Cheesing it up for the leaderboards. Gotta keep that win/loss high, the world is watching!
That is probably how he will play in tournaments. I think they should also tone down push blocking a little, zoning seems way too powerful and rushdown characters can get sent full screen as soon as they get in.

Link the stream please...

I thought so too at first, but it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal for people who actually know how to apply to pressure in this game.

Josh has been playing laggy scrubs all day and now he's getting blown the fuck up by someone who hasn't been on the sticks in hours lol

How is spooky countering the #1 god tier strategy? Unpossible!

Spooky must be cheating.

In all seriousness, matches are exciting when one of them doesn't suck. The earlier rage over zoning was silly.

I feel like I'm watching Clockw0rk vs. Neo all over again. Sp00ky is killin it and with the obvious shit too. (Skrull's Meteor Smash is too nice.)

You know, Arthur is like a selectable boss edition of I-No from Guilty gear. Projectiles and you can't really avoid or dodge them.

It really is like a bullethell.

I'd rather face lvl3 Xfactor Sent than MVC2 Sent.

Me ending up against a lvl 3 Sent is MY fault. Fighting against MVC2 sent with an AAA and not having the right characters to deal with it was not my fault. You basically get chipped out with no way of coming back. Just about every character can kill Sent just as fast as he can kill you, lvl 3 xfactors go both ways. From what I've seen a lot of top players are probably upset that they can be bested by less experienced players, especially after 10 years of practicing. MVC3 isn't MVC2, you don't lose the match at the character select screen anymore it's all the way to the last hit baby!

Do you guys believe that the game can get patched in order to better balance it ?

It would be pretty sad if the perfect team was found and there were no way to remedy the situation...
