Which one? Street Fighter II V or that one that aired on USA? II V was great even if the story was way different and Ryu and Ken were kinda weird. Still entertaining.

Best Buy is my primary Fry's is my backup. Hopefully they'll have it up for in store pickup since I didn't take the full day off from work.

Hahahahah. Most of those are nonsense (of course) but scarlet spider could be really cool. He had those things on his back, and his powers were different, it could be really cool, I think.

I hope the DLC chars SHATTER all DLC records and they NUTS.

Like a Mega Man 2 villains pack. Thats right! I'm suggesting they add EVERY Mega Man villain as a playable character!

I called to cancel my order and they said they might not be able to since it's in process. Last time I pay for overnight shipping, or even order from the Capcom Store.

No. The "tracking number" they provide isn't even in USPS format (too many characters). It also bears mentioning that, more often than not, I get an "We are currently unable to perform this selected action" error whenever I try to view my order status.
 
Can't believe I just pre-ordered. It's gonna be SFIV all over again.

By that I mean me getting my arse kicked constantly online. Are there going to be as many annoying tactics in this game? I noticed that Ryu and Akuma are in this as well which is giving me flashbacks. I've developed a nervous twitch whenever they show up on my screen.

Nevermind, I can't really turn down all these characters. Can't wait to play as Viewtiful Joe and Amaterasu.

II V. It had an okay story but it was just so fucking hokey.
 
This thread is really making me want to try out some other fighters now too. Mostly 3S, Vampire Saviour/Darkstalkers, and SSFIV. What's the best version of DS to try out?
 
This game looks to be a million times more fun and better than SSFIV so it should get straight 10's across the board imo :p.
 
So since there are DLC packets and whatnot, and more characters coming, this will probably have some kind of Super rerelease right? Tempted to buy now but am probably going to wait...

Well, SSFIV is this generation's currently BEST, most BALANCED game, with a quite huge roster and feature-complete online mode. It might be better, but million times? Eh.
 
I got my copy form the Capcom store. The waste of felsh T-shirt is much smaller than I thought it would be. Only a L. I wear M but it's not the XXXL shame tarp I was imagining.

The game is really fun. Unlocking stuff right now. The graphics are quite something. In the win screen the chracters all have that comic booky dot look like it's a printed page, very cool and not something you could tell from the streams.

I beat the game a few times and I'm on PS3, I did notice a bit of slow down fighting the herald wesker and dr doom. And only when you pull off some really crazy full screen stuff. The normal 3v3 stuff you play vs CPU hasn't slowed down for me from what I can tell.

Overall I'm very happy this game is in my hands. I'm going to have some fun playing tonight.

I've had people with the UK flag join rooms before so I'm pretty sure all regions are allowed.

There's also region "same" or "any" option when doing a server search though when using that it kinda seems more like it's filtering west coast vs east coast and not necessarily the world(Same usually gets me no results whereas any gives me tons of 5bar servers).

I'd like SSFIV more if I didn't have to put 100 hours into the game to just be slightly below average.

I just played a few minutes ago, and SSFIV is STILL amazing. Will totally stop playing for a few months until I grind the hell out of MVC3 ofc, but that wont change 2 years of fun and frustration : ) (the good one, not the bad one :D )
