Part of improving and learning in anything is people observing. Observing things that you may not see and even your opponent may not see. This can be done in spectator mode.

I'm as glad as the next guy about Thor not being as useless as everyone thought, but how is a 100% reset setup that uses one meter and no x-factor a good thing? It doesn't even look that hard to pull.

The record/playback option is there. It's not where you usually expect it though. You have to go to control config while you're in training mode and change whatever buttons you'd like; choices are to record p1/p2, playback, etc.

Air throws could be a different story though. In TvC, Polimar could do his Hyper airthrow after the opponent falls from an air combo. This would resetting the damage scaling, but would still be unavoidable as you would basically fall in his hands.

I think Ryu will get a lot of love from the casuals, but when I see "I'll be using #1, #2, and #3" list on GAF and other places like SRK, I swear the only person I think I haven't seen listed yet IS Ryu. lol
