Just curious, has anyone uploaded the Episode 4 trailer/intro that does NOT have that annoying crackling sound in it? It seems after that one website/channel posted it, everyone is posting the same copy of it, or is that just how Youtube is processing the video?

Can somebody on the recieving end of a combo use X-Factor to basically reset themselves back in neutral state?

So like instead of getting hit with OTG -> Hyper combo, or like those Thor Reset combo's that were just posted, granted not while you're being by an attack but somewhere in between ( being knocked back after an air combo etc )

Basically doing ANYTHING in the game gets you PP. Seems like you'll be able to unlock these guys really quickly.

Yes, it's more akin to credits in Reach. Get them for doing anything.

The guy who was on the first real stream got 1 new character after every playthrough of Arcade mode. Roughly, 1 arcade mode playthrough = ~2000 player points. Likewise, you won't have an online only pool anymore. The PP you see next to someone elses name online is not like battle points, it's cumulative of all the player points they earned across various modes.

When you exit a mode it will give you the slew of notifications much like in SF4, saying you just unlocked a new character, and then the total amount of PP you earned during that particular session.

Also, the points you earn in Arcade mode are NOT the same as the player points you receive afterwards.

How does one earn PP? is it similar to the ranking system in SF4?

To put it simply, and going by the released videos:

Akuma: beat arcade once.
Sentinel: beat arcade twice.
Hsien-Ko: beat arcade 3 times.
Taskmaster: beat arcade 4 times.

(basically you get around 2000 PP each time you beat Arcade mode).

This will likely be the first team I pick, though Thor, Iron Man (I've pretty much NEVER used him in previous games), Deadpool, Viper and Hsien-ko all interest me for playing around and learning. They screwed her over because she was a joke character that somehow got screwed up and ending up being the scrub's Giga Bowser/Cruel Melee champion. They fixed her in their eyes

I tried playing Super Street Fighter 4 and I ended up crying salty tears into my cornflakes.

It's a lot more flashier with less inputs so it's definitely more visually pleasing and appealing. The inputs aren't as strict either, and combos are easier to string together.

Absolutely, I'm a more casual fighting game fan and didn't like SFIV either. The VS series is WAY more Newbie friendly. There's a "Simple Mode" selectable that makes input similar to Smash Bros. Though even on Normal, it's still way more accessible than SFIV.
