I can't wait to see Gaf bitching after people get settled with their teams... Going to be very salty around here, hahaha.

People like tek that think damage and health are going to matter past the first month are in for a surprise. This game as too much flexibility and creativity. There are going to be people who have a hard time putting into words why they lost. Misdirection and multi-stage traps are going to be huge.
This is exactly the feeling I'm getting too. Every character seems "broke" in their own unique way, and it seems like every character has a 100% combo (whether it be with or without X-factor). Every match in this game is going to be similar to high level MvC2 play, minus the demand for prohibitive combo execution and with (nearly) every character being viable in some way. Set-ups, mind games, situational tactics, and match-up knowledge are going to be the difference in winning and losing in anything above scrub play.

That makes me very happy and it is beginning to make me believe that Capcom is going to actually come through with their statements that they kept the best parts of what made MvC2 so long-lasting while simultaneously improving on the formula.

i dont see taskmaster on the character select screen...so this isnt an early retail copy?

He hasn't unlocked him. The pirated version of the game crashes on a particular stage, so he hasn't completed arcade mode. He'll eventually get him by messing around in training and mission mode though.

If his previous tries in those modes say anything, no, I don't think he will.

This stream really doesn't show the game well. I see the 60 frames, but then it just crawls. Man I just hope it doesn't feel clunky to play.

Shuma's isn't as menacing as I was hoping it would be. Kinda reminds me of something you'd hear in Megaman game actually. I don't mind though.

Jill's makes me want to bust out the glowsticks.

The best Pringles always have a little salt!
Non-salty pringles is just unnatural and nasty.

Check the original SF4 thread around launch. Lots of crying about how strong Ken's FP shoryu was.
