I wouldn't be upset if they were just playing it while waiting for the game to come out, but by the sound of comments here, they're not going to buy the game.MThanded said:I would agree with this because I couldn't do the majority of them.
Edit: yeah these fools have a non-legit copy. The loading just went haywire.

Game Informer:
9.25/10 Game of the Month.
Pros described as: Easy to pick up ( specifically mentioning the new control scheme and increased input leniency ), good depth, pretty and flashy, unique and interesting cast, smooth gameplay
Cons described as: Character endings are lackluster ( Comparing them to SSF4's animated and voiced character endings ), Online modes are fairly bare bones ( again comparing to (S)SF4 they mention a lack of tournament or team mode )

Sixfortyfive said:AFAIK, there aren't any known differences between the two versions yet. So outside of issues like Live vs PSN, what version all your friends are getting, etc. there's not really anything to consider.
Might be too late for you to get the CE anyway.ToD_ said:Great, thanks! I'll just go for the ps3 version then. Now to figure out if it's worth going for the SE if all I care for are the 2 extra characters, from a pricing standpoint.

Street Fighter had a whole year to figure that junk out and then re-release as SUPER Street Fighter. I hope Capcom isn't just testing the market so they can release Marvel vs Capcom 3: Tournament Edition: Hyper Fighting: Super Banana Blitz.
Real talk: I'll be butthurt if it happens. It takes years to "solve" Marvel. DO NOT WANT reactionary balance patches.MThanded said:I think people are going to be butthurt after the first balance patch comes out.
It's perfectly fair to criticize MvC3 for lacking in features that other fighting games have had for years.Owensboro said:It's not really fair to penalize a game for not having features the sequel to another game had.

OMG
You're probably right. It would just suck if they decide to charge $10 per character, or something ridiculous like that. I should have preordered a long time ago, though.Acid08 said:Might be too late for you to get the CE anyway.
It's completely fair. They have done the features prior, and their competition has done the same, if not better. And many of them are obvious ones that should of been included.Owensboro said:I have a feeling this is going to happen a lot. Besides, GI's score is still 9+. Not like they're making a huge issue out of it.
He's saying doesn't want the game to be patched. At least not until for a looong time.MThanded said:I mean its inevitable that this game will look a lot different after the first patch. Will be interesting to see how they patch it.

Is morrigan really easy to play as though?vocab said:dante, deadpool, morrigan.
I understand that but i'm saying the patch and the fallout are both inevitable. Patching really changes the outlook on fighting games. Capcom may opt for a totally new game to fill their pockets though.(most likely)El Sloth said:He's saying doesn't want the game to be patched. At least not until for a looong time.
the thing is they could make major balances if they wanted and not have to worry about alienating the arcade crowd, since there isn't one. Capcom made sure to get rid of stuff like the chicken wing loop in SF4, I'd imagine they will make changes, it's just a matter of how big/frequent the changes are.DarkoMaledictus said:Has capcom ever did a balance patch? Sf4 and ssf4 were patch but not for balance, their balance patch are usually new versions of the game lol

They patched bugs and such but not balance. (Which is OK since it would bring issues about console Vs Arcade version)DarkoMaledictus said:Has Capcom ever did a balance patch? Sf4 and ssf4 were patched but not for balance, their balance patch are usually new versions of the game lol
rance said:They could.
It's just that they added a bunch of stuff on top of the balance patch that requires a purchase. (SSF4)
Playability:
Playing with a controller feels great, but using an arcade fightstick is heavenly. Make the investment.
Ride it out. Play something else over the weekend.RiderKairuu said:So my local game store is going to be selling this game early tomorrow. Problem is I already have the CE preordered, and they may only have the SE available. *sigh* do I wanna cancel my order JUST to get it a few days early and miss out on the DLC characters until March?
Lyte Edge said:Has anyone who ordered the game from the Capcom online store gotten any updates yet? The e-mail I have from them lists today as the release date, but when I check my order online, it just says it's processing.
Should have just been Shuma and 50sent.brandonh83 said:Ryu and Iron Man on the disc? That's pretty unappealing. Should have just been RE characters, yyyeeeaahhh.
