Well, they can continue playing SSFIV. (Id say okay, if AE silence were not too painful)
Or they can continue playing Blazblue/buy Blazblue CS (Well.. it is a lot more niche, with 1/3rd roster size of MVC3!!!!)
What is the upcoming fighter rival? Hm, Capcom's own SFIII Online, Capcom's SFxTekken, and Namco's Tekken Tag 2. In next year, realistically.

So I say yeah, we can voice opinions, but I would NOT vote with my wallet in this case and skip the game just because you cant spectate. I want to PLAY.

If you're that hard up, do what you like. There ARE plenty of fighters. Tekken 6, BlazBlue, SSF4/AE when it comes.

However, being content and letting companies, whoever they are, start taking away standards that should be there from this point to help grow the genre...don't be surprised if you never get them back.

Again, I point to genres. Dedicated servers, mod tools, and so on. Standards for so long are not being taken away and either never showing up or now being sold to you.

Just checked a MvsC3 ending. WTF Capcom, we aren't in 1990. This isn't SNES.

okay, Capcom shipped the PS3 ver and it had my t-shirt in the order status. my 360 shipment better have the t-shirt too. i emailed them about this anyway.

He is the most overrated character in TvC. There are roughly half a dozen characters just as good but you never hear about them because Marn and the sea of TvC scrubs don't play them.

Pick a character who's good in the air and stay there! Or pick a character with an invincible Crossover Counter! There! Now you can keep Zero off of you and neuter his pressure game! Was that so hard? >_>

No, there aren't.

Standard of the genre is a pretty loaded idea to begin with. What else is a standard? Roster balance? Size? Tekken bowling-like mini games? Maybe if triple A fighters were a bi-monthy thing like FPS are, then yeah, I would agree.


What this really is, is a ssf4-mvc3 comparison.

Is it bizarre that I completely agree with both of you? Also, as someone else said, I'd rather have better netcode over spectator mode. SF4 was the same way, couldnt get lobbies in on time without messin up the netcode.

I bought all of these. Put 1000+ hours into SF/SSFIV, 100+ to T6, 30-100+ for BB and same for BB CS. Now what? What is the NEW? MVC3.

Why did I fully pay for my copy at the local Mom & Pop? WHY? Could've gone to VGNY or something, now I have to possibly wait till Monday.
