Anyway, thanks for the vids, Maximillian! I like how you have no issues using a LvL 3 when it'll get the job done! So many early players seem to just sit on meter, taking no advantage of such power... your Wesker / Iron Man synergy was also quite nice. They meshed so well, and it was good to see angled Proton Cannon actually showing a reason to exist.
Thanks to the others who have posted Vids as well. It's always great to see how different a game can look in a variety of hands.
NO THANKS AT ALL to the people who act like Sentinel is the only chara in this game! :lol: He's truly built for frustration, but at least he's actually BUILT this time, instead of the previous cobbled together mess of a character. I don't think I've ever been happier at the fact they gave Morrigan a flight mode, as I am now... it really seems to force his hand into MOVING a bit, and since you can DHC aerial hypers, going from Aerial Finishing Shower into ground hypers, to punish the baited Sent tactics / Dante Jam sessions spam should be a nice little trick, if applied right...

Looking at this video has made me reevaluate what goes on in the SF scene. I was laughing at the Wambo video's reactions. It seemed comical to me, but then there are crazy reactions to SF stuff that I was agreeing with (not the Thank God for the machine. Thank God for Sentinel video, he went too far lol). We must look like fools to some people (well the people that show excitement openly. Not us at our desks).

So guys in your opinion which of the new characters was the best adapated from their canon/source material in terms of feel and authenticity?
I think that most of the newer Capcom characters were extremely well adapted from their games and my top 3 would be Wesker, Dante and Amaterasu. Viewtiful Joe and Arthur would come in next, I am honestly shocked that Capcom was able to make Arthur into a playable and VIABLE MVC character.
I liked how they incorporated all of Amaterasu's weapon sets in the game allowing for a lot of unique styles of play and combos. Same for Dante, Capcom really went beyond the call of duty with this one and basically adapted DMC3's combat engine into 2D form. Wesker also plays like I would've dreamed, teleporting/dashing all over the place and causing a major headache to characters.
From the Marvel side, Phoenix, Deadpool and Dormammu get my top 3. Deadpool with the awesome VA/quotes and great use of both of his long ranged and short ranged weapons. Phoenix because she comes with Dark Phoenix as well and Dormammu with the "Power of the Creator/Destructor" hand painting. Really lots of depth in these characters.

With how Wesker and Dante look and play, they really outdid themselves. Dante seem to have every little thing from his DMC3 game and that game had a ton of weapons. They pretty much gave us the ability to try fighting real people as Dante. And Wesker is insane, looks just as menacing as he did in the RE5 videos. Like some teleporting monk.

Game is awesome, my favorite characters are Dante, Deadpool and Wesker.
Too bad I suck at this game, I mean I thought I was competent, but then my brother demolishes me with random characters.
And I was practicing earlier.... sigh.
My biggest weakness is that I just dont know what to do when he's spamming assists and beam-supers all day from across the screen. I'm just too used to normal Street Fighter and forget I have assists and stuff. Need more practice.
But damn, when my combos hit and I'm up and close and kicking ass, the game is absolutely magnificent!
