My biggest weakness is that I just dont know what to do when he's spamming assists and beam-supers all day from across the screen. I'm just too used to normal Street Fighter and forget I have assists and stuff. Need more practice.

But damn, when my combos hit and I'm up and close and kicking ass, the game is absolutely magnificent!

Wesker has a teleport that can counter this as does Dante. Just punish his assists with a super, like Deadpool's or Dante's. It will do massive damage to the assist character. Hell even Deadpool has a teleport and he can spam projectiles against the best of them. Your team is custom designed to be able to handle this situation you just have to dig a bit deeper.

And yeah you have to use assists a lot. Max got the right idea with using that Iron Man Projectile assist and Dante Anti-air assist to set up Wesker combos from different situations. You got someone spamming projectiles from all the way across? Call in Iron Man and then teleport behind them. Got someone harassing you from the sky? Call in Dante and follow up in the air.

You should be glad he hasn't picked up characters like Arthur/Dormammu/Chris/MODOK yet because they make life hell for rushdown characters with their keep away game.

I need to use my assists more as well. At the moment I'm playing with Sentinal (Sentinal Force Charge)/Zero (Shoryuken...whatever it's called)/Phoenix (TK Shot) but I think I may switch out Zero for Wolverine after seeing some combo videos. His rushdown just looks so badass! Which assists are a good choice for Wolverine?
 
So many people are getting this shit urrley I struggle to even consider it urrley anymore. Getting it on Tuesday is just getting it late.

Their websites claim they should have limited quantites on release. I have my Special Edition reserved at one, as well. You really shouldn't have a problem getting one there, unless the people in your area are set to buy them out for one reason or another. Fellow Xbox owners: What's the best place/way to score deals on cheap Live subscription cards? I'll probably be trying out the online at a friend's place and if it's decent enough I'll probably resub.

Max's Iron Man and Wesker are COMPLETELY BEAST MODE. And he's using (one of my) team(s) too. Is it confirmed Iron Man's Level 3 is a grab? Does that charge he do at the beginning of the level 3 go full screen?

I will have Tuesday - Thursday off this upcoming week. I'll be ready...to get my ass kicked. lol

I need to look for some good assists for Wesker as well. I'm not big on Ironman or Dante yet though. Maybe Deadpool and someone else. Deadpool starts to sound annoying after awhile though. Ugh.

Eh, I'm still learning the game so I wouldn't expect anything amazing. I'm not even sure of a team yet!

For people that don't have it yet, don't force yourself to use your already decided team. The characters I'm liking gameplay-wise now weren't even a consideration a week ago.

I just got finished playing 12-13 matches againsta guy in France. It was really smooth overall. The netcode seems good, but the lack of spectating in player matches sucks.

i'm going to buy mvc3 at kmart. they are going to give you 25 dollars of those rewards points. i'll be using those points towads buying a 4000 point card so i can get a bunch of xbox live arcade games. just got a xbox 360 and i'm buying all the good games. except for fps games since i can't control them. unless i can completely customize the controls.

I'm surprised by how much I like all the green dudes. Especially She-Hulk. She's far cooler than I expected.

It is actually fun to mess around in training mode. I know this has been said numerous times, but I'm still blown away by it. Of course once I'm in battle I forget every single damn thing I learned and end up mashing like an idiot, but it's still pretty great.

Don't like how it doesn't show the opponent's ping if you're using fight request. Maybe I'm missing it? It seems like it takes you straight to the character selection. I really don't wanna fight super laggy dudes and hate using the search. C'monnn Capcom.

Online seems pretty good so far, but so did SSF4 pre-launch. I wish they'd implement stricter regions. I'd be perfectly happy fighting nothing but New Yorkers forever and ever.
 
LOL at justin's coment, no shit this game is cheap it's made that way on purpose, mvc2 was unintentionally broken as fuck, this game is INTENTIONALLY broken as fuck for the fans. Easy is good as it lets more people get into it, but the game is still pretty god damn reaction based soooo ya.

Oh and shout outs to Max for blowing marn and randoms up online :P

Yes, they both are. Original hacker dude said he could potentially unlock them too, but no one has to date.

Hell, they have in depth features on them in the strategy guide. Combos, moves, frame data, assists, etc.
