Marvel vs Fapcom 3. I can't wait to play this though it probably won't be until next Friday :(

Actually, Viper does well versus Dromammu. Her EX Thunder Knuckle sails right through his dark hole, purification and other zoning tools. So I wouldnt say she does bad versus all zoning characters, but characters with the ability to run away really well stomp her.

I'm not hating at all.

You make it sound like the game all of sudden being on my tv is going to make xfactor any less of a bullshit mechanic. Its been obvious from the start that marvel was going to be straight over the top fanservice built to be easily accessible - thats what marvel always has been.
 
As long as character movement is quick response, with razor-sharp precision, I'll have fun with this game. That's all that truly matters for me.
 
Just had a pretty cool moment online. Totally murdered this dudes first character and he gave up.

I sat there with Wesker fullscreen and hit taunt. "Please, try harder." and he put on his shades. Dope as fuck.

I hear you man, I might not get my copy until Thursday, and have midterms wed/thurs/fri.

And then, I might not get my copy at all cause I've ordered through some sketchy retailer :(

Shes good but not the easiest to play. She can dish out insane damage but also is a major meter hog. She does well with Wesker cause she can call him for a low, then air dash in with light for and overhead -- this is unblockable when timed right. .

Don't forget it goes the other way as well. Wesker low and call in burn kick assist. just fantastic chemistry.

Yeah thats true, it's a great team for sure. I think Amaterasu works well with them too due to Cold Star being a good "lock down" assist and also Bloom which can help keep Viper stocked with meter.

Just dont team her with Phoenix. lol

I like Chun, just to have a 3rd rushdown and make the opponent guess assists during her stupid good airdash shenanigans. probably better to have a zoning character running the caboose though.

God bless stores that break store date in NJ! Been playing nonstop for a while now, and yeah, this game is like the lovechild of MvC2 and TvC.
 
On my phone, so ill keep it short.

Game looks amazing

Plays great, is easy to pick up and play, but you do need execution, especially if you wanna play someone like viper. Or even play at a decent level.

Me, and mike chow have been working on mission mode and some of it is pretty tough, not as bad as some SSF4 trials that needed 1 framers but the difficulty is still there.

Dark phoenix is a piece of shit.

Regular phoenix dies ridiculously easy.

Personally I think mvc2 is faster.

Was averaging about 1200 posts per day, but I think that's gone up. We have to hit at least 100 pages or half way to OT2 before Tuesday.

And god DAMN @ the TvC hate in here. Didn't know it was that strong. I wish I could've played more, from what I played I liked, but it was on a system not worth owning so I never checked it out.

It was pretty boring and just not worth playing. It had interesting ideas, but it wasn't any good as far as the Marvel games.

But really the video is on the Marvel vs games. They also avoided the SNK vs games as well.
 
did capcom ever say why tatsunoko vs. capcom wasn't on 360 or ps3? i mean it almost seems like they didn't want the game to sell. why make it exclusive to the wii? i had the game on wii and it was pretty fun but a shitty online mode and it being on the wii was reason enough to sell the game.
