I thought it was in the Link provided. Then please give me the link for the XBL Tag and I would gladly add it in.
GAF Tag is "GAF MvC3" and you should also probably add the link to IRC that Threi posted.

You could even copy+paste my explanation of how the friends-of-friends feature works or make a better one.

Seeing them figure out Phoenix on the Khaos stream...man. In right hands, she's going to be really fucking scary to deal with. Shit turns into a boss fight when she gets momentum going...

Sorry I haven't been keeping up to date with the game really.. but uhh what's this x-factor thing?

"A mechanic new to MvC3 . X-Factor is activated by pressing all four attack buttons at once. When X-Factor is active, your point character regains "red life" at an extremely rapid rate, your character is substantially sped up, and both normal and "chip" damage are greatly increased. In addition, on activation, all of your cooldowns are reset (see XFC below). The potency and duration of X-Factor is dependent on the number of teammates you have remaining. If all 3 of your characters are alive, then you get a level 1 X-Factor. If you're down to your last character, you get a level 3 X-Factor. You can only use it once per round.

X-Factor gives different boosts depending upon your character. Chun-Li for example would get an insane speed boost where as someone like Wolverine would get an insane heal boost. Others receive higher damage or defense.

X-Factor Cancel (XFC) - XFC allows X-Factor to be used to its full potential. Executing X-Factor during any point of an attack (normal, special, or hyper) cancels the remainder of that attack's animation and recovery. This leaves you with the opportunity to either get your character out of harm's way or continue with another attack that would not have been able to be comboed without XFC. The damage boost granted during X-Factor can make the damage from XFC combos very potent. Furthermore, you can also activate XFC during block, which allows for "custom alpha counters:" block > XFC > counterattack."

Hey everyone! Got back from my Anchorman quote related ban just in time!!!

I got the URLAYs on Friday in NYC!!! The game is awesome but frustrating. Sentinel is a BEAST, that stupid mouth laser comes out so fast, when they have xfactor its brutal.

I think, because only the hardcore have the game early, is part is why I'm getting my ass kicked so badly. I gotta get in on the GAF scrub league!!

I'm around 30 and 70 (actually a tiny bit better). I started with Akuma/Morriga/Tron but I'm now using Akuma/Ryu/Zero.

She still gets bossed up without Dark Phoenix. The best part I've seen is that she's kryptonite to Sentinel.

It's fuck shit up mode
Heal red life, Reset combo scaling, increase damage and speed.
You forgot about linking hypers into hypers, making absurd combos, countering on block stun, making attacks that were previous punishable now safe and making stuff that was safe now punishable.

Oh and it negates chip damage while greatly increasing yours. Most of this stuff is in the OP though, I don't know why people are still asking.

Hm....weird I made a post last night but it didn't show up.

Anyways ill just repost it.

Last night I was able to play both ps3 and 360 version. There was no noticeable lag or slowdown on either version. Both played great.

Playing on asus evo monitors, if anyone is curious.

Here:

To play with other GAF users with 360s, this is the method we'll be using:

Add the gamertag "GAF MvC3" to your friends list.
From here, you can select the gamertag in your friends list on your 360, cycle right into their "Personal Profile" and select "View Friends."
From here, you can see all the other Gaffers that have added this GAF MvC3 gamertag, making it function as a hub where you can send invites for MvC3 games to each otehr and the full shenanigans.

Apparently you can combo into Phoenix's healing field and continue the combo. That's gonna be really useful. Haven't seen anyone do it in a real match yet though.

how do I switch character in air to continue the combo?

Is there any sort of indicator in the UI that shows whether or not X-Factor has been used? Looking through screens and streams and it looks like there isn't. Not that it's a big deal as it's pretty hard to forget whether or not it has been used, I'm just curious.

On the upper right or left next to the health bars it will look like a shattered orb when used. If its available it will glow red.

Yes, there's a pulsating/glowing X by your character portraits. Ah, never mind I read your question wrong. I thought you meant how do you know if you have X-Factor.

Cancel out of an attack, cancel out of block stun :P

:lol :P

Why you laughin' at my team? :( I know Ryu is kinda crappy for advanced players cuz you can't cancel out of dash or combo out of overhead, but he is beastly for me!

I wish I could play Akuma x3, I'm so much better with him than anyone else! :)

what're some good assists that hit low?

Weskers Gunshot is the best, X-23 Ankle Slicer is decent but comes out slow.

Deadpools Katana-Rama will OTG the opponent after throws and such.

Vipers Burn Kick is an overhead. Akumas Dive Kick is an overhead.

Do you mind if I add you?

Sure! Just leave your GAF username in the friend request message so I'll know who you are. Other PSN users may add me too by doing the same thing. Moar friends is always a good thing for a creeper gentleman like me.
