So, looking at the select screen and Capcom when at all possible, trying to do like, themed rows, Jill sitting next to Wesker and Chris for example, am I crazy for seeing another DMC character make the cut? Virgil or Lady or Nelo? Oh man I wish.

Also, speaking of fan-made themes. As if Taskmaster's theme in MvsC3 wasn't epic enough, a fan on youtube made their own CPS2 (games like Street Fighter Alpha series/Marvel vs Capcom 1/so forth) rendition on what Taskmaster's theme should sound like.

ok just played through arcade mode twice and the first thing that stands out is the graphics. i have watched probably 2 hours worth of streams and youtube videos but until you see it on your big screen you just done know. easily the best looking fighting game ever and one of the best looking games ive ever seen.
as far as the gameplay, awesome. not really going to get into it since everyone has seen everything but the game is a lot of fun. i need to get a new controller though. i have the tekken 6 arcade stick and its definitely functional but id rather get something that is good.
i have only used 9 characters (2 play throughs and i went into practice mode once). first playthrough i went with old favorites wolverine, hulk and iron man. because of the new button layout i had to look at the moves list since some have changed (drill claw for instance). nothing new to see here. they did improve wolverines range with some moves. hulk is pretty much the same. iron man is a bit faster, a lot of fun to use.
2nd playthrough i used superskrull, phoenix and haggar. they are all awesome. i still prefer mvc2 zangief to haggar but hagar is no joke. superskrull will probably be a favorite of a lot of people. phoenix is fucking nuts. i didn't know that all you needed to do was build up to level 5 and then if regular phoenix dies it goes to dark phoenix. i thought you had to use a supermove to activate it or something. even phoenix alone has a decent moveset and you can zone people out. but dark phoenix... damn. not unbeatable but what a pain in the ass that will be to deal with, especially if you have no beam characters left. so hard to get in on her.
anyways in practice mode i used chris/wesker/modok. all great. they really did chris and wesker justice with their movesets and specials. modok seems like he will be a force once people get some time with him. i will probably play in a bit after i go get another controller.
