Yeah, like if I take off on a super jump towards you, it just goes towards you, you can dash out of it or double jump out of it, but you can't adjust at all in the air.

Think of how normal jumps work in Ghosts and Goblins. It's like that.

Dude.. Seth talked about this and said only Arthur's jump works like this, you can jump in a forward arc, backward arc, or straight up like Dhalsim, and Arthur couldn't control in the air like every other character. Sure your not just talking about Arthur?

Fairly certain I've seen air control in videos too.

Maybe I'm out of my mind, but no, I would super jump towards a guy with ryu, and it seemed like the only way to change my trajectory was to do a spinning kick thingy. Maybe its much more subtle than the last game? I feel like I can move all over the place in MvC2, once I get over the guy, helping to cross him up. I couldn't do that at all over the last two days.

I'm at work now, so I can't mess around at all.

Pretty similar to what I have in mind. Viper/Akuma/Morrigan. I want my lab dammit! :(
 
I love both Spidey's and Captain America themes--nice call backs to one of my favorite fighters--Marvel Super Heroes.

But She Hulk's, Ryu's, and C. Viper's are great too.
 
I just wish Hsienk Ko's launcher had a bigger it box. Same with Ammy. You have to be right on your opponent to make it hit. Doom on the other hand, his is fucking massive.

The problem with team HAC (Hsien Ko, Akuma, Chun) is that Akuma is the only one with an aerial hyper. On the flip side, he doesn't have an air dash though. All three have great assists though.

Just signed up for the local Gamestop tourney, despite never playing this game and not getting any chances before the tourney starts.

So here's my question... What is the command for Dante's air flame blade spinny thing that combos into his dhc? I'm pretty sure that's all I'm gonna need to know.
 
Just got my copy today. Man, the whole system is so much different from Marvel 2 with the 2 punch/2 kick setup. I'd love to play Dormammu, but he will have to work soo hard to win. To get the charges you want is going to be such a difficult thing to do in a game this fast.

Seriously, I feel like I'm two for two now considering that I knew Phoenix would be beyond beastly in good hands and for calling Chunners as an amazing rushdown character way back in the thread. I'm feeling pretty good with my scrubby self. =)

Dante/Morrigan/Phoenix can't wait any longer. I needs mah Mahvel.

Edit: Since we're doing music now, I really wish if X were in the game, simply for a remix/hype version of this but even more specifically this. (<3 MMX tunes)

Building up the five bars can be rough. I played against a guy yesterday who did it, and he was a BRUTAL pain in the ass.

We was playing Arthur/Modok/Phoenix. Just played keep away with Arthur the entire time while laying down barricades with Modok. I finally killed Arthur, with just Ryu left, and he switched to MODOK and called Phoenix out for an assist right as I XFC shinku'd

It iced Phoenix in one shot, and she Dark'd out. I LUCKED out and hit her with a XFC shinku as she tried to rush me down, and one shotted her, but then Modok beat me.

But still, I can't imagine that keep away style being that fun, unless you are a total Spike/Sirlin.
