dat goddamn punch... it covers a ton of ground and chun's airdash sits in a perfect spot right above it. its a bitch because you want to ag chun but when timed right that punch will connect right after, pinning you. if chun's got xfc going, she'll be right back in your face before you can do anything too.

Final Justice still looks sick and his theme is god tier. Facts.

The double jump does indeed fucking suck though.

The shield goes through everything. What more do you want?

Even his assist will stuff a lot of basic projectiles...
 
sorry if this is already known, but on training mode:

- no dummy record(!)
- no reset button map but it's in the menu
- changing assist in the menu is very nice
- they copied blazblue's menu pages without an indicator that you can use the bumpers to pages forward

You can also never lose your shield.

All I know is that I've had the beat for Assassination Day on repeat for the last hour and shit feels like butter whenever my mah waifu AKA X-23 gets on the screen.

We need to come together and make a GAF-HOP playlist.

I'd like his former glory returned, yes I went there. Although he does have some new combos with his shield.

His shield boomerangs and hits people in the back of the head after they guard it's first pass.

Yes there are A LOT of poor UI design choices and a very barebones online. Blame The oddball, disjointed and isolated game development culture Japan as well as Capcom's inability to manage and maintain a level of consistency. It's not like it is in here, in the West.

I dreamt about the game, it was just me getting pummeled by different characters from the series.

Haven't dreamt about a game in like 3 years or something. Fuuuuuuu 4days left

For those reviewers , reviewing this game will take a major part of their day as well as extreme pressure added to their shoulders as they will have to watch their words, fear the backlash and keep their professionalism on the line, it'll be the most important game they review this year.

But for me it'll be tuesday.
 
This is interesting. Was watching this guy play on PSN and went looking through lobbies. You can see a connection bar with rooms. Five bar total, green being the fifth. But doesn't show individuals connections.

Well just with x factor, the chip cheese and the unblockables by capcom standards it warrants a new disk version (god forbid they would patch it...yeah whatever Seth said, highly doubt they would patch balance... )

She can combo like a madwoman.

She-hulk I need to train to use, I was just mashing for fun during a play and she's got a charging move and all it did was charge me into the enemy's Super.

I don't think he looks that bad but he hasn't really been used much, I do look forward to seeing what he can do when in the right hands.

People don't know how to get in with him yet. Dude has a ton of health, but its a pain and every advance is uphill. Once he's there, he doesn't need to do much though... tbh, I like Hulk and Chris more than Thor right now. People are really sleeping on Chris.

Thor moves like he is underwater. I used him once and won with him.

I actually got the Superhero Stand Alone trophy, was ecstatic when I pwned and won a whole match with only Ryu. I wish this game had videorecording or SSF4's Battle Room recording, a shame that was my most impressive fight.
 
I remember back in the MvC1 days, my friends and I used to have epic battles.

One fight in particular was a very close one. My Strider/Jin vs his Wolverine/Captain America.

So, my Strider beats his Wolverine eventually. Then, in an upset, I timed a teleport wrong and lost Strider to his Captain America. My Jin comes out and starts beasting and his Captain America is doing great too. Eventually, we're at similar health, like 1/8 of our health.

As if we heard something go off in our heads, we do something simultaneously. That moment should have been recorded: I activated the Blodia Punch super at the same time my friend hits his Charging Star (not the super/hyper, the regular assed charging star). Guess which won? THE FUCKING CHARGING STAR. IT HIT, AND I DIED.

I DID NOT KNOW THAT CHARGING STAR HAD THAT PRIORITY. I RAGED. HE DID A VICTORY DANCE.

It's so funny because the next day, he came to school in a Captain America shield shirt just to spite me.

Fuck friends. =(
 
So the online mode is broken? I was kicking myself because I really want this game but I'm on cfw and the big draw is obviously the online play. But if it's that bad maybe I should skip the game altogether.
