Nah. I'm from the Church of 2D sprites, but many characters look great (Phoenix and Sentinel). Some are what you said indeed though (Wolverine and Hsien Ko). And the already polygonal characters (Dante, Joe, Amaterasu etc.) look all pretty much great.

MVC3 is by far the best looking polygonal fighter yet and I haven't even seen it live, when it is supposed to be more impressive.

Venom is awesome but i totally agree, this game needs more Spidey villains.

YES +1 for Hobgoblin or Green Goblin or Mysterio or Shocker or Dr. Octopus or Carnage

Btw. it's really funny, i said it before but Marvel's new boss is a huge fan of Venom. He said in a interview that Venom is one of his all time favorites.

I'd take any Spidey villain hell even Jack O' Lantern: Hobgoblin or Green Goblin would be my preference though.

Just got my shipping confirmation from Gamefly. Have been unsure about this game since I didn't like MvC2 and don't care about Marvel as a franchise, but I did like TvC. Even if I do like it, I'd get a decent discount on the game if I decide to 'Keep It'.

GG as in Guilty Gear? Viper is an SNK style character. Her jumps and much of her special moveset are right out of a KoF game.

I have put around 1000 hours into my Viper in SFIV/SSFIV, so I am very happy to see her "buffs" compared to her SFIV counterpart (most useless ex turning into a godlike one, for example, and bk cancel, finally!).

I was almost considering dropping her for totally new group, but this Viper seems like a much more deep, almost brand new Viper. EX VIPER!

Viper is boss alone for the fact that on one of the Streams she focused an entire Super Skrull hyper and then punished him for it afterward. Watching her health go back up to full was just amazing. I still stand that she's one of the best and interesting cast member decisions. And a better decision than putting Juri in. /shotsfired.

No UK copies come with the DLC. Only the Special Edition which is American excl;usive or something. You can get a steel book from game or gamestation, a comic from shopto or a t-shirt from a bunch of other retailers if you pre-order.


Also, I think the Green Goblin should be DLC or if people want Venom and he'll be too similar to Spider-Man in his black suit then put in Anti-Venom, from what I've read he seems cool.

Like Doom's missiles - He's safe virtually the entire time, they pin guys down, they bail you out of combos, there's a delay, they come out the sky so its hard to see at times, it'll bail you out when you drop a combo... Its kinda godlike.

All of her fake outs, and her focus attack. I was really surprised by that, and found it really cool. I was messing with her yesterday, and even though I don't like her in SSF4, I think I'm loving her in MvC
