The only ones I really want to change to Japanese are Hsien-Ko and Felicia, honestly. Their cuteness overload is better heard in a language I can't understand.
 
I'd like to apologize. I just read back a few pages (excuse me for missing a few pages but damn the hype machine has this thread moving) and discovered the reason a lot of you are canceling is because Capcom.com has blown it with the orders and lots of UPS shenanigans.

I agree with canceling over this if you are doing so in order to have a chance to buy a game at launch tomorrow so you can have it day one like you paid for. I thought folks were still grumping over characters or movesets like they were earlier.

Go ahead and cancel that way you can pick it up somewhere else who will actually give you a game after you give them the money for it.

Hype back on.

EDIT: Just to help I am reminding you that Walmart will have this game at midnight and yes I confirmed at my local one that they will sell it at midnight tonight. Go cancel, and get in line if you got shafted. Forget tomorrow...we play this TONIGHT!

Pretty much. My goal is to have Phoenix last as long as possible, but get to DP status early in the match while Morrigan and Storm are still healthy. If something goes wrong with DP, I'll have Storm with a healthy meter and Morrigan being the battery of the team.

Storm has been one of my mains since COTA. She can build meter with Morrigan and can run away. I'll be using typhoon to cover Morrigan as well.

Yeah, don't sleep on X-23 at all - at most times she can get two normals out before you can get one out, next thing you know, you're launched and then back onto the ground again - plus she can combo off of her grabs, and don't forget Dirt Nap.

Wolverine is a boss regardless though - but if I had a choice, I'd fight him over X-23 any day - I messed around with her on the first day and was cleaning house, and now today my friend picked her up, and she was tearing it up until I adjusted.

I think you'll be in for a great ride with this one, so many characters are so viable now, the only tough thing is to get the synergy in a team.

To those with some experience with the game is there a way to play a real solid footsie game and make projectile players really pay for spamming? Wesker or Taskmaster any good in that department?

So...whose going to walmart to compete for MVC3 tonight and who are you planning on using?

Since it's tourney I'm rolling Thor, Chun Li, and Amaterasu. Ammy as main on combos, Chun li on push assist and for emergency DHC damage usage, and Thor on Battery. I don't mind taggin in Thor to down down fierce. He's healthy and I can cancel it or assist guard it.

I remember when scrub was an insult used toward dudes who thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread in their competitive game of choice when they actually weren't.

I wonder when it started to become interchangeable with noob. Just to clarify I'm not being snarky or anything, since I also use scrub that way too, just curious when the meaning changed.

Taskmaster, without a doubt. His counters work great, and against solid beams, it flat out cancels them. Against normal projectiles, they get reflected. his swing is okay for getting across the screen in the air.

Wesker has a slightly harder time getting in since his teleports aren't based on the location of the opponent. you could SJ and teleport across the screen, though.

That was the first time I ever saw someone connect Finishing Shower without the other person "lol-blocking" everything. I don't know if it's cool that I saw it happen or terrible that the other guy got hit with it. :lol
