Just found out that my local Gamestop has the midnight launch going down. This will be my first midnight pickup ever! I can't wait!!

Yeah, I love it when terms like this are flipped for the better. Scrub is a bit more fighting game centric though, and noob is a bit more common with FPSs. Though really, today no shame in admitting your a noob. Unless your 12 and video games are serious business still for you.

Looks like I'm going to spent a lot of time preparing to face an onslaught of Phoenix, Dante, Storms, and Sentinels.
 
Never played any Marvel Vs. Capcom game, is the guidebook going to be handy to have around for me?

I feel like I'm going to be in the menu's a ton, and it might alleviate that. Then again, maybe the ingame stuff is more than great.

That'll be DLC. They'll add Dan it but if you pick him then you get 3 Dans. I would buy it.

The thing about it is, everyone "knows" what a Phoenix player at this point is going to do, farm meter until the moment of truth. How people don't use this as a mind game in and of itself is beyond me. Just now in the Khaos stream, I saw the Phoenix player come in at max and the other guy just backed the fuck up expecting DF as the next move. The Phoenix just said fuck that, went rush for a bit then Lvl. 1 KO'd the other guy at like 40% or something.

People in the stream were even wondering why the hell the guy playing Phoenix would use meter. Me, I'm just thinking "you all would get caught badly if people weren't always going for the DF". :lol

I would use nothing but Dan from that point on. I still remember the time I managed to kill someone with his autograph projectile. Chills, man. That was so hype.

Shit I just realized something, I got so hype that I settled on a team I wanted to make work, that I've neglected the first character I saw potential with, Chunners. :(

Edit: I lol'd shadowebb, mostly because my youngest sis was watching that earlier.

Wesker has a slightly harder time getting in since his teleports aren't based on the location of the opponent. you could SJ and teleport across the screen, though.

So the first two members of my main team are going to be She-Hulk and Morrigan. Any suggestions for the third spot?
 
Man after reading the Shoyruken guide on C.Viper, she is a huge meter hog with all her EX moves taking meter, so weird. I'll probably need a good meter building character to sustain that crap, maybe Wesker/Ammy/C.Viper.
 
i know he probably wont be popular but im loving hulk right now. i like that they made his ground rip move a charge (like guiles sonic boom). opens up a lot of easy combo potential
 
I just beat Galactus by dropkicking him in the nipples with Haggar. Mayor Mike: greatest American ever or greatest American ever?

Also, glad I unlocked the four chars now, I hate that shit. Into the lab I go for combo work.
 
I still don't have a team! Apparently Iron Man goes with anything, so I have no idea who to pick for the rest. At least I'm a scrub so it doesn't really matter, but I seriously can't even decide on who else to play as.
