Fighters Megamix 2 would be nice. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Metal (model swap), and Robotnik would work just fine.

What part of No sonic ever I completely hate the guy I would do fine in never seeing his face again nor hearing of another game with his so long as I love didn't you get?

The issue is not as much about the game doing well competitively as it is old values becoming lost and irrelevant.

Marvel will do just fine competitively because it will continuously generate new-blood in the future because it's the new game. This will happen regardless of its merits in relation to its predecessor - just like Brawl.

If you think MvC 3 will have the tactical regression of Brawl then yes.

Bayonetta is way too nice a character to not grace a fighting game. What's worse is seeing how well Dante crossed into a 2D fighter and thinking "well fuck, Bayo would murder". :lol
She would be instant god tier.

GAF, tell me how to spend my money. I was going to wait for a decent sale before buying MvC3, but the streams . . . the STREAMS! They are wearing away at my resolve. What should I do? Related question: If, hypothetically, I was thinking about maybe getting the game from Amazon—I mean, purely in theory—should I grab the guide as well?

Stupid sexy Capcom.

Yeah, the streams and all the videos hyped me from "eh looks cool" to "DAY 1 IT'S MAHVEL BABY." I heard the strategy guide is good, if you're a strategy guide person it could work okay. There is a lot of online resources so you don't need to buy it, but I might buy it because it's massive and it'd be cool to have around.

People complaining about MvC3 being "too easy" are morons.

The execution barrier being lowered is a good thing. It's called making the game more accessable. This allows many more players to be able to jump right in and start playing. MvC2 and 3s can easily turn off new players because they are so complex and difficult. MvC3 and SSF4 are much easier to get into and aren't so scary to newcomers.

Also just the internet and it's angry nerd syndrome and bitch bitch bitch nothing is ever as good as the original bitch bitch bitch some more. As bad as SRK and some of the scene is, at the end of the day 99% are behind the games, the scene is no where near as bad as the Smash scene. People may complain but at the end of the day MvC3 is mad fun and the vast majority is majorly behind the title. Capcom makes good fighting games, and this one is excellent. It will be played, and it will be hype.

I hear the guide is good, but if you go to srk it seems they are building a mean online guide.

Do it! The guide is supposedly awesome.

I actually wish SF4 was even easier to do the 1 frame links and such. It's not about execution, it's about mind games and who is the better player. That will never change no matter how much "easier" you make the games.

Hell think of it like this. Would Chess be any better if it actually took skill to move your Knight in an L shape? If I screwed up the movement could you swoop in and take me out with a pawn?

completely agree. i hate how everyone is saying that this game sucks and is broken, when the havent even played it yet. i played it for the very first time in best buy today (getting my copy tomorrow through amazon!), and while i still need to learn the controls, its a damn good game and im just going to play the hell out of it.

capcom will patch, balance, add in DLC, and do whatever necessary to keep all of us happy. there is NO way in hell they will just sit there and leave this game at its current form/stock - they will be adding and tweaking things, guaranteed.

wtf is this shit...

just appreciate the game for what it is (hype overpowered cheese for all) and have fun dude. you don't play at that level, so don't criticize the people that do

I agree, all the insane execution really measures is simply time commitment. It is one thing obtaining skill over time by facing other players and learning how the game works, it is another to be able to get "better" than people by simply sitting alone in a training room doing the same links over and over

I'm going to pick up Chess hardcore one of these days just so I can smash that irritating comparison in a spectacular fashion.

I'm not kidding, I ordered an expensive set off Amazon just yesterday.

I would not be mad at all if you succeeded.

I thought it was the same account and he just changed the name?
I assumed it wasn't because he posted a pic of his eg account being ranked 1 then later that day he was on a stream with another name.

Holy fuck, so I'm waiting here for a se copy of the game (no one else here lol, they have a lot of copies too), and I swear to god the kid from the "bro / never leaves" meme is here. This is surreal. They're buying NBA 2k at midnight lol
