After you select your team in Arcade or Training, where you select the damage options, difficulty, time, you'll see fight request on the bottom.

There's definitely fight request in the game, I think you can even turn it on in training mode.

Only if people game for the air exchange, but for regular air combos no. To break an air exchange combo you have to match the directional input your opponent used.

I have alot trouble when my opponent puts pressure on me, especially against Zero. I need to work on an effective way to deal with that. When my friend gets me in a combo with Zero Im pretty much done for, it's a bit frustrating. Having alot fun playing though.

Watch out for basic mixups

and don't AG the first attack either. just normally block the first and AG on the next swing or so to push them away. A lot of times that will throw them off because they'll be halfway into their second or third input.

Well like I said, it won't help for most air combos. It'll only help on those air combos where they tag in another character mid-air combo and continue the air combo (though, not with delayed hyper combos. If you don't know what a DHC is it's explained in the OP). Basically, to do an exchange combo, you launch someone then you go into a chain and then hold a direction + S, and at that point the next character gets tagged in and continues the combo. So what I'm talking about here is something like S, jump then L, M, H, then hold up, either side, or down + S. As the opposing player, you have to guess between up, a side, or down (and hit your own S) and if you guess right then you'll immediately escape the air exchange combo. I'll try to find a video, I know it sounds confusing.

Hm, the last Bradygames guide I bought was the SF: Anniversary one. While it was good, and I haven't received my MvC3 guide yet, I'm pretty sure the MvC3 guide will blow you away if you thought the other guides you've had were high quality. Not an elegant solution but you can just go to practice mode and turn off health and meter recovery.

But yeah, I'd like that be patched in with spectator mode. I'm starting to believe that this game got rushed out a bit before certain things were done. Hopefully Capcom with release CPU Vs., Time-Attack and Spectator mode via a patch... But I can easily see them charge for it.

i've played at least 70 online matches and have not had one game that i would consider "disgustingly bad". most have been awesome actually. i know this doesn't mean shit to you but there has to be some explanation
