Baloonatic said:So are the missions like that training mode thing in SFIV? Where you have to perform certain combos to proceed?
If so, does it show you what inputs you need to do or just the names of the moves?
If your copy is somewhere besides indiana then it might be fine. The indiana update is from the fulfiller side(digitalriver) not at the usps side. Im betting they just scanned boxes to stop people from calling but they actually hit the usps side later or not ever in some cases.h3ro said:So wait... my copy might not be where USPS says it is?!

ARGGHH amazon delayed my guide shipment tooTheExodu5 said:The guide is beefy as hell.
I'm strictly talking about training mode, I don't see any problems with it, everything you need is there with many options down to assist type.Ferrio said:Nothing wrong with it... just nothing special a ton of other games haven't done before. The game's challenge mode isn't that great for sure though.
BitchTits said:A lot of these gripes about online sound the same as SF4 did originally, so why couldn't they put their experience and knowledge on that to good use?
Yeah, around 400 pages. Picked one up from Best Buy earlier. Also got my arcade stick in too. Gonna be a Marvel kinda night (Except for Parks and Recreation)!TheExodu5 said:The guide is beefy as hell.

They didn't need as much processing power for the engine, which freed up more CPU cycles for the netcode.Spirit of Jazz said:How the fuck can Backbone's port of MVC2 have better online than this? It's a bit of a hype killer when you spend an hour getting viewtiful combos down then when you take them online you can't hit the H after Joe's DP for shit.

I mean there's nothing wrong with the training mode, but there's nothing special about it either.Darkman M said:I'm strictly talking about training mode, I don't see any problems with it, everything you need is there with many options down to assist type.

Oh my. Amazing. Wolverine is pretty fun.
I'm up for some games later if anyone wants to practice on PS3. Note that I am terrible - I have 30 minutes experience. I already have my team tho - Logan, Zero and Storm, baby. PSN Tigerheli.

Also, they don't really explain shit. If it weren't for people in this thread letting people know about some of the more important things such as KO, dummy record, and screen reset options, I'd probably be a lot more agitated with it tbh.
Okay, this is hilarious.Caj814 said:

Skilotonn said:I hope you all learned the biggest no-no when it comes to mega games you're dying to have - never, ever, EVER ever order online - there is always a store that sells early.
I'm lucky that I get the hook-ups for early sales for who knows how many years now so I never order games of that level of necessity online, only the games I wait on.
