if they even think about including Daken i flip! Although X-23 does play different she still kinda is a Wolverine clone. Including Daken would be overload.

Emma Frost needs to be the next X-Men character, ignoring any MvC2 X-Men yet to return. Even then, I'd take her over, say, Cyclops.
 
Got this is in the mail yesterday and played for almost three hours last night in arcade mode (and a few online matches). Love it!

At first the Galactus fight irked me, but after twenty attempts later and finally succeeding, I came to the realization that it's actually pretty brilliant. It feels like an epic fight for your life that requires the strength of all three heroes to overcome a seemingly impossible to defeat foe.

Seth has stated multiple times that she's going to be the fastest character in the game. The video didn't really show much beyond a few combos.

Currently rocking Trish/Phoenix, still can't decide on who my 3rd is supposed to be :( But Trish is really fun to play just looking for that 3rd member to compliment the two.

I'd say Sentinel but I'd rather kill myself.

I don't know if this took place here, but I distinctly remember someone arguing that he probably meant: "fastest DLC character." Either way, I find it hard to believe that she'd top X23 in terms of speed, not because it's impossible, but because she'd be extremely hard to control (just imagine a faster character than X23 using XF).
 
OFFICIAL MVC3 TIER LIST

GOD TIER

Deadpool - Taunt is a physical attack, LVL3 counter hyper that breaks the 4th wall. If God was a mercenary, he would be Deadpool.

Wolverine - Insta-overheads, God-tier rushdown, can corner you in 3 seconds flat

Morrigan - X Factor Astral Vision puts players in projectile block stun. Meter building whore.

Sentinel - X Factor LVL3 Sentinel kills you in 4 hits. Drones assist is God-tier

Phoenix - 5 meters -> Dark Phoenix -> X Factor LVL3 -> Rips hole in time space continuum and you win

Amaterasu - Slows down time, has 3 switchable weapons, short as fuck and her meter building assist is not even her best one!

Magneto - He's MAG-FUCKING-NETO, he is automatically GOD TIER. Has a LVL3 super that hits from full screen.

Iron Man - Best tri-dash in the game, LVL3 Hyper is boss as fuck

Storm - When she MAKES IT RRAAAAIIIN, you will lose 1/4th life in chip and if she X Factors you will lose over 1/3rd life in chip damage.

Akuma - He is basically Ryu if Ryu was God Tier.

Haggar - The Crack Pipe. Learn to respect it.

Hulk - X Factor Gamma Crush can kill an entire team. Yes all 3 of your fucking characters dead in 2 seconds.

C. Viper - Can cancel moves AFTER hitting them.... WTF! Overhead assist to set up god-tier unblockables.

Chun-Li - Lighting Kicks. Lightning Kicks. Lightning Kicks. Lightning Kicks.... Chun-Li's legs are God-tier by themselves.

MODOK - After 9 cubes his LVL 1 hyper does as much damage as most character's LVL3 hyper. His barrier cock blocks even the best of projectiles and other shenanigans. His intelligence level is over 9000.

Felicia - Felicia is the cat version of Amaterasu, which is to say she is a god trapped in the body of an animal. And trust me, Felicia is a fucking animal in this game! She has one of the best rushdown game in Mahvel.

Thor - Even while blocking, Thor can kill a character 100%. His Might Speech is God-tier.

Tron Bonne - Can link supers into supers, invulnerable flame assist, beastly combos, spinning arms jump attack covers like half the screen.

X-23 - She's like Wolverine if you gave him a LVL3 that makes him turn invisible and gives him a command throw that can guarantee hit tagged in enemies for a free combo. Can combo after LVL3 hyper for more God-tier shenanigans.

She Hulk - Her attacks can dizzy the opponent for like 2 seconds. I don't know if you have played a MVC game before, but a 2 second dizzy MVC is auto-God tier. You can kill a character twice in that time frame.

Dr. Doom - Hidden Missiles is like the best assist in the game. Also has God Tier Pimp Chair.

Trish - Traps, tracking projectile hyper, 8 way air dash + flight, God-tier dive kick. Also comes with God-tier Sparda sword.

Captain America (with shield) - Captain America's shield can go through dimensions.

Dante - STFU this guy has 40000 moves? And he has a tracking teleport? And he has an assist that cuts the screen in half and jams you in it?

Bionic Commando - His arm can go through anything except Captain America's shield. Can swing around to avoid other god-tier shenanigans and call an assist during it.

Spider Man - UNBLOCKABLE AIR HYPER. Can swing around to avoid other god-tier shenanigans and call an assist during it.

Wesker - God-tier teleports with God-tier shades with God-tier one-liners with God-tier hyper counter with God-tier "missile out of ass".

Taskmaster - Counters, Spidey swings, projectiles, off brand Captain American shield... he even comes with a Glock.

Hsien-Ko - Gold Armor Hyper -> Tag Out -> Abuse invulnerable assist all day

Zero - Double Illusion Hyper -> Tag Out -> Abuse invulnerable assist. LVL3 Hyper can punish an entire team from full screen instantly.

Arthur - Can link one hyper into another hyper indefinitely (as long as he has meter). Cable of MVC3.

Dormammu - Special moves that range from SPIKES EVERYWHERE to GREATS BALLS OF FIRES to OMFG WHY CAN"T I JUMP ANYMORE! Can be used from assist. Teleports, tracking projectile hyper and other God-tier zoning powers.

Super Skrull - God-tier OTG, teleport smash, command grab that hits from full screen (almost). He also has all the powers of the Fantastic Four.

Viewtiful Joe - Crotch rub down hyper is too OP for this game. Nerf that shit Capcom and make him taller!

Chris - Normals that do block damage, grenade spammer, gun spammer and fist combos that do more damage that most people's hypers. And he has prone position for the LULZ.



MORTAL TIER

Ryu - Ryu is at the peak of mankind and has mastered his fists and energy to its highest levels. He just isn't MAHVEL enough but his hyper is probably the best one in the game.

Captain America (w/o Shield) - He's too human without his shield but his theme is still God-tier.
 
Some people pull of the cheapest fucking shit in this game I want to punch my TV screen until my fists break. Holy shit. They don't even fucking fight for win it's just cheap move, cheap move, cheap move, run away until timer ends. AAAAARGH!

Boo. X-factor lvl 3 Sentinel is pretty much a win button. No one should take pride in abusing that for wins. I was so bummed when Capcom revealed Sentinel. This nonsense was exactly what I was afraid of. Still can't believe they put him in the game in his current state. It's really a game-killer.
 
I'm starting to suspect terrible netcode or cheating. Both rank matched I've played so far have been nothing but an unplayable lagfest for me. Player matches are perfectly fine tho, no lag there.

And Galactus can go fuck right off. Worst way to ruin an otherwise pretty solid AI.

Tell me about it.

That's why I love playing my team of Viewtiful Joe, Spencer, and Ammy so much.

Two midgets, one of which can triple jump, and the other who can fly across the screen and also probably outspam their spam, and that's if half of their projectiles even connect due to their size, and a guy who can punish their spam with some of the most damaging hypers in the game or zip right over them.

It's also satisfying as hell when they're crouching in a corner trying to advancing guard you and you get them with Spencer's command grab.

It's still bullshit, though. The fact that so many people are already doing to this shit in the first week does not give me faith that this game will keep me busy as long as some of the other fighters. There's only so much I can take before my head explodes due to increased blood pressure.
 
I FUCKING HATE THE MATCHMAKING IN THIS GAME!

I want to play guys at the same level and I still get like 6th Lord and shit. This is broken.
 
The dialogue in that Jill video is very very faint. Keeping in line with other reports, this suggests that her character is unfinished in those videos. As such damage and speed are probably not finalised as of yet.

Still nice to see the team did a good job with her animations. All of the RE5 characters behave in very similar ways to their attacks from RE5 in MvsC3. Good job from the team in transitioning it well.

Still cannot wait to see Shuma though. ^_^
 
Lol, player matches are so agonizing. The wait is ridiculous. You never know how bad it is until you have to wait in one.

And what's up with the deadmau5 like track playing in the Mission Mode main menu? What's up with that, Capcom? :lol

What, no Felicia? She can catch a butterfly in outer space. Also can combo into her Hypers on her own from OTG, and has a low hitting assist.

Then again, cats are ambush predators. Just keep ignoring her, it makes her job easier.

Felicia is really beastly she is God-tier automatically.

Man I am so tempted to add Ryu to God-tier as well:

*Can combo off of his LVL3 hyper.

*Can combo off of his wall bounce into launcher.

*L Tatsumaki kick can cross up easily.

*One of the best hypers in the game and it is also aimable.

*Good overall stats, hits like a fucking truck on normals.

*Supposedly Shoryuken has starting invincibility (not confirmed).


But then Captain America (w/o shield) will be alone in Mortal tier. :(


MODOK added to God-tier (even though no one has actually played with him all that well, he has potential when he starts stacking those cubes).

Any team becomes that much cuter with her on it.

Cap is a super soldier. He has superhuman strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, durability, and healing.

His shield is unbreakable because it's made out of stuff that made Adamantium. That's why it can go through everything.

I don't think Ryu is bad, it's just a running joke that's been going since the revealing of MVC3. Would've liked to see an air dash on him though. I personally use him a lot and use him to teach MVC3 to others. His pace is "just right" when you need to get a hang of things in MVC3.
