Just ran into a guy who tries to build meter and block get 5 bars and then baits you to kill phoenix.

The first ranked match i played him in he mixed me up with with normal phoenix. Next time i killed his other two characters and super jumped away from his ass for the last 20 seconds. Not falling for that shit.

I sent him a message on psn "nice try"

Good Phoenix players would keep her in as long as possible. Regular Phoenix is no joke.

he kept her till the end both times but i got owned by her mixups the first time

The other day, this dude disconnected on me and I sent him a pic of his disconnect. He proceeded to call me names in the following message lol. Couldn't handle that Project Justice (Chun, Chris, Cap)

Why the hell is the timing to combo into Iron Man's launcher so strict? I whiff it like 50% of the time.

Yeah. That's basically the reason I don't use Iron Man right there. His launcher is a total pain in the ass.

Just beat a person who is 75 and 23. Uses zero, x-23 and ryu. Some sick relaunch combos.

I was laying dat pipe on him too hard though. Couldn't handle it.

Bleh, the wait between games is pretty weak. Finally get what everyone is complaining about. :( I wonder if it's actually a problem on Capcom's end or if people just don't know how to forward ports. This 15 minute wait between games sucks pretty hard, and I'm pretty tired of waiting in training mode. lol

Anyone have advice on doing the "z" motion on the analog stick? No matter how much I practice, I can only complete it consciously 1% of the time. :(
on an analog stick? that sounds really hard, brah. why not the d-pad?

put the dummy on CPU and difficulty on hard or something.

training is good for the soul.

Just tap forward and then do most of a quarter circle forward! If you turn on input display in training mode you can see exactly what you're doing wrong, but you'll still need to practice.

I found that I stopped whiffing it so much when I threw standing H right before it, rather than just crouching L, M.

From the post I read on SRK it sounded like she was a lot more incomplete than that. She looks fully working, minus tag vocals. I hate when the conetnt is on the disc and we get charged to access it. I would've been fine if she was more broken, like missing animations or textures but that looks fine to me.

She doesnt look complete at all.

Shout out to TheFightingFish, good games earlier. Fun to play with someone who is on the same level. Anyway, I am a total scrub, and played my first ranked game today. Opponent rage quit. LOL 1-0!

I somehow managed to juggle 3 of my opponents character at the same time. WTF!!!!! It was insane. All three getting S -> M -M -> Air pipe -> relaunch -> M -> M ->Air pipe

WOW!!!!!!! That was one of the quickest matches I have every had.

It felt more than godlike. I feel bad for the guy because I would not want to be on the end of that combo. The lack of replays in this game is upsetting.

His shield is unbreakable because it's made out of stuff that made Adamantium. That's why it can go through everything.

Vibranium is not Adamantium. Different fictional metal.

I'd rather have a new appearance than Venom again. Bring in Carnage. Hands that can turn into weapons and all kinds of symbiote stretchiness should make for a good fighter right?

Seriously.

Yeah it was fun. Given how slow match making is currently and the lack of spectating one on one or three person max lobbies with GAFfers is pretty much the only way to go.

I need to put some time in the lab with my planned b-team (Hsien-Ko, Spencer and Spider-Man - "Swing Kids") before I break them out. I could swing all over the place, but at the pace that Marvel moves I was probably confusing myself more than my opponent.

my god, my magneto is so fucking beastly...

Seriously.[/QUOTE]

I could see that happening. Carnage just had his big return from the dead in the comics.

...Everytime I fight against him, I find myself questioning why on earth Sentinel is in this game and who the hell at Capcom balance testing left him in the state he's in.

It's clearly not his shining personality (I.AM.A.ROBOT), nor is it his relevance to the Marvel universe. Was he really added to the game just because he was overpowered as hell in the previous one to the point that it turned the entire 10 year long tournament scene of a 56 character game into essentially the 6 or so characters that worked well with him, and then on top of that, Capcom also made him overpowered in this one as well?

Basically, what I am asking, is, is the Marvel versus Capcom team really such a bunch of incompetent fuckwits that they cannot balance a game or even correct the one biggest mistake with the last one even when given ten years?

I probably sound like a little whining bitch, but I have literally not ran into a team without that fucking robot for the last 10 matches, and it's starting to get a little tedious.

Also, to everyone saying this game is too fast for them: You should've given Blazblue a shot. Kept me in the perfect mindset for this style of game.

I'll take the advice on X-Factor. I usually keep it for my last character, in case I need to make a final stand.
When I'm feeling cheap, I XFC one of my supers into the same super just for the hell of it. Tee hee hee fucking hee. :lol

I bought this game yesterday and I have absolutely no idea how I'm supposed to play it. I mean, am I supposed to play it in a... faster and/or more chaotic manner than from games like Street Fighter or even Guilty Gear?

I got worked by the cpu on medium setting lol.

Learn how to launch into air combos first, then learn how to combo into launch, and then learn how to incorporate hyper combos into them. Mission mode should teach you these and that's a good foundation to work from.

Well I can totally understand bringing him back. He was popular (even though it was just because he was broken), so why not bring him back? Not fixing him is the real problem. I am really interested to see how far they will go with balancing character through patches. If at all!

Are you playing on 360 because on PSN I haven't encountered that many Sent teams at all..
