I wish there was a way to give someone a quick "GG" or whatever in a random player match without having to put on a headset or sending them an XBL message. It just feels weird to play a nice long series with someone and then just quit without a word.

One of the messages you can send is a "good fight" i think. Just one of the buttons that aren't the four main ones to send different messages.
 
I've got to get a stick. The buttons on the DS3 are just too close to the right analog stick, I keep hitting it. Now the question is, do I wait for a deal on the TE sticks or just get the cheaper HRAP 3 now?
 
The Morrigan fireball shit looked like it came straight out of Megaman 2 or Ikaruga. The Tron finish however, shit was fucking hype.
 
Haven't been posting much here lately, spending all my time playing :)

Team so far is Cap(Charging Star assist)/rotating character/Dr. Doom(Molecular Shield assist).

I honestly have no idea who will fit in well with these two.
 
Cap is a smart counter to Morrigan's shenanigans. His shield is the best character in the game after all.

Shame he didn't get a chance to do anything.

Can't go wrong with either, but you might want to swap out the stock Hori buttons on the HRAP down the road.
 
Character's that have projectile spam should be given a HP penalty, or the close up player should get rewarded for not playing keep away, something like Guilty Gear for being aggressive. When I try to chase spammers they usually get out of it and fly away and it's like I have to climb the mountain again. That Haggar slowly going through Aurthur and sent spam reminded me of it. Trying to super jump between the projectiles usually get me caught with the projectile, and when I fall after super jump I have a chance of being punished.
 
I want to pick up Dante just to use his teleport against people who play keepaway and use Sentinel's assist. Arthur's not so bad if you can land a hit because he's made of glass. Sentinel is a bit harder to deal with, but he usually needs an assist to play good keepaway.

I like Taskmaster :) Mainly because I can do 700k off of one bar of hyper, and it's not that difficult (woohoo Wesker Samurai Edge assist extending all my combos).

Arthur has to projectile spam. It's the entire basis of his character, he can't do anything else. Punishing him for that would make no sense.

His health is already low so he seems good. For Phoenix you can kill her easy and if she has 5 bars you can let time run out before enabling her dark phoenix which will just activate burning rain.
 
That's the exact feeling I get in game when people resort to spamming projectiles. It just makes things so boring, not because I can't win but because the fight to get to them is very boring. Makes me want to go to SSF4 for some fighting.
