Yamashita sameface going on
Why does Ms. Marvel have heels in this figure? I get it's a minor thing, but it's kinda bothering me for some reason.

So besides the PSX reveal and the toy line announcement, nothing of real value has been released/leaked since the game's announcement, right?

Besides, they kinda swept DmC Dante under the rug anyway. Itsuno's project is likely to be DMC5 with the old crew, & I'm pretty sure Capcom's aware that the majority of fans prefer OG Dante.

Bad Anime Dante (BAD) already got an outing in the last Marvel game, it only right BAD takes a backseat for New Dante to have a turn at Marvel.

Or at least let you switch based on costume. DmC was a great game and shouldn't be passed over.

...Besides Dreadlock Spencer got in over the version everyone loves.

Donte is terrible and you're terrible for liking him.

And DmC was garbage.

Man... months have passed since this game was announced, yet every time I see this thread pop up with new posts, there's no new information.
lol, same here, but the same thing also happens when I see an Injustice 2 thread. "Oh, even more characters have been announced for Injustice? There's a new video? So surely we'll see some MvC news any day now, right? Oh, nothing? Bummer..."

I guess today's full of bad opinions. First the "Nintendo should give up on Pikmin" thread, now this.

But seriously, the only way that DmC Dante should be in the game is as an alternate costume for OG Dante (which I would be all for). There's a reason why fans prefer OG Dante, & why Capcom seems to be moving back in that direction. Sure, DmC was improved for the Definitive Edition, but it doesn't hold a candle to the gameplay of DMC3 & 4. That plus DmC Dante was just an unlikeable douche, whereas OG Dante was a laid-back, funny hero that you could get behind.

Doesn't she like to crack jokes about her "+10 Heels" ?
Ms. Marvel's costume has flats in the comics, so.....yeah.

Hopefully Capcom doesn't fall into that trap with Ms. Marvel if she gets in MvCI. Then again, they have Chun-Li, Ibuki, & Rainbow Mika, all of whom don't use heels. Hell, Juri doesn't even wear shoes.

......Yeah, I'm not that worried.

I guess it was some type of flair in lieu of not being able to make her sexy, these guys mo are very sexy figures. Ms. Marvel being a child throws an ax into that.

Someone suggested it was because they can't do feet, but they can. Femininity seems to be this artists flair. See for example freedy and jayson.

So I think its just that artist wanted to make her look girly, and gave her heels because that's his thing. Rather than any indication of the design in game, or his inability to draw feet or anything

What you mean to say is BAD* fans prefer BAD. Are plenty of DMC fans who were not in any way BAD fans and played the series mainly for the gameplay.

Speaking of gameplay, only a small numbers of the DMC userbase are even good enough to see the skill ceilings of the series, let alone be good enough to have legitimate personal complaints about DmC. Not that this matters for a fighting game representation of the character.

Lastly I'll again bring up Spencer, he got in not only using the awful 2009 game's character redesign, but the 2009 game it was taken from sold horribly, reviewed horribly and even killed the dev. DmC by comparison had decent sales though not huge, was a critical success and actually has a large fanbase who prefer the designs over the BAD one. Capcom even thought it was worth remastering for the Definitive edition which is universally agreed to be even better.

BAD had his turn, it's DmC time.

*BAD = Bad Anime Dante.

Lol DmC is done, Capcom is never going to reach into that pot again, it's over, it was poorly received and a bad idea in the first place. Capcom has moved on, you should too.

Also the rest of your post is garbage, but that's standard affair for you.

I'm not even sure if you're trolling anymore. And large fanbase, lol. There's a few dedicated fans (such as yourself), but the fanbase of OG Dante far outnumber DmC Dante's. Not that it matters, Capcom's probably gonna go with either Uncle Dante or DMC3 Dante for MvCI (hopefully Uncle Dante).

Also, consider this. The 2009 Bionic Commando game was (to my knowledge) canon. DmC on the other hand isn't canon to the mainline series.

Bionic Commando 2009 is the only game in the series that sold a million copies.

DmC is also the worst selling game in the series at 1.7 mil (when Capcom wanted it to reach two million by the end of their fiscal year), and DE was all about making it more in-line with the other games.

DmC is done and even Capcom wants to forget about it for the most part. Ninja Theory isn't doing a sequel, so you might as well looks elsewhere.

Someone is butthurt. So much vitriol. Also false, it was a critical hit outscoring other AAA games in the genre that released around the same time period.

Not even close to it when MvC3 released.

This is factually false, DmC sits at the third best selling game in the series after DMC4 and DMC1. Not counting Definitive Edition sales. Is also at 1.9m not 1.7. Will likely end up outselling DMC1.

So it still sold less than the preceding game when the whole point of DmC was to turn the series into an uber cash cow.

DE didn't even sell 100k. It's not going to save that sinking ship.
