Wasn't looking forward to doing that, since I didn't enjoy the DC version of CV that much when I rented. But DMC just looked so rad when I saw shots of it in EGM and the like, and then I tried it for myself over a pal's house.
...Needless to say, I was hooked. Bought damn CV with my own money just so I could get more of that.
I almost fell out of my chair laughing at this.
Yeah, I'd say there's a 99% chance he's playable.

I would think so. Or at least we will know whether he is or isn't in this game. Seems kind of odd to me that the potential final boss of the game would be a mash up of 2 characters but they wouldn't be revealed at the same time.
Ohhh, the mod on Eventhubs. I was trying to think of a/the GAFfer that fit the bill.
I don't know how I missed that.

I don't think there's much reason to reveal them at the same time unless Capcom also wants to reveal the full look of their fused form, which I doubt they want to. Plus they're still not showing off story mode stuff, apparently, so that gives them less incentive to bother revealing both at the same time.
It still is kind of weird that they wouldn't though, given the discrepancy between the Marvel and Capcom sides now. It could be that they want to have one half of the final boss for this information blowout, and then the other half for the next one. (E3?)

I remember Ben Judd from back when video game magazines came bundled with CDs. I think it was PSM or something that had a video where the editors went to Japan and did karaoke and zombie mocap at Capcom with Ben Judd.

I wonder why that reveal is going to have uneven numbers for both sides though. Does that mean another reveal with at least 2 Capcom characters to make up that discrepancy is going to follow that upcoming blowout soon thereafter? That would be swell.
Also Sigma is probably gonna be playable yeah. They're probably gonna keep him for story mode reveal tho.

I click the thread and see about ten new pages since last night. I look through them and find... nothing. No new leak, no deets, just old pictures of Devil Dinosaur, Hauzer, Phoenix and Darkhawk.

I wonder what new moves Hawkeye will get? Boomerang Arrow? He has so many nutty trick arrows.
He already has a ton of arrows and doesn't really need anything except for a way to get people off him.
In fact, they might take away some of his arrows like they did with Chris. Some of the arrows do feel a bit redundant in some situations. Or at least change up his flips.

Not necessarily? Ant-Man's probably gonna be Scott Lang rather than Hank Pym, and the Ant-Man in Hawkeye's lvl3 is Pym.

Twenty Dollars. Shake on it? Just to confirm, this is the ANNOUNCED release date not the actual. So if they announce September but then some earthquake happens and they miss the date, I still win because of the announcement.
That's the rate I gave Tripon too in FGW (for a different but still similar bet).
Yeah, that feels like overcomplicating things, especially if Ant-Man has a Pym skin.

Neo, you're making me nervous. If Infinite is out Q1 next year, then that means DMC5 is either coming late this year, or it's not coming in Q1 of next year. I'm starting to fear a scenario where the RE7 DLC is the only major Capcom release late this year.

I don't know about you but I apparently did.
Still, I stand by my point. I saw multiple posts from several posters who are in it far too deep.
I hope Marvel doesn't force a cinematic universe influence onto the roster. I'm so tired of having the Avengers shoved into every orifice on a regular basis... As a kid, all I wanted was more superheroes around the clock, now I'm living in the Twilight Zone where any time I see the "lowest-common denominator" ones like the Avengers, I'm instantly annoyed in the same way I am when my neighbour's dog starts barking.
Onto happier news, the art style is really nice, and thankfully not conforming to the standards of anyone other than Capcom. And I am reserving judgment until I see more than a handful of characters, obviously, the above is just my paranoia talking. I'll still buy it regardless, but an original, varied roster vs. "the kids and dad can see a movie then play this game" roster will simply determine whether I go in excited or jaded
I'm pretty open though, in terms of who they include, as long as it's not well over 50% "major" MCU on the one side. I'd like to see a revamped Shuma-Gorath and Omega Red (highly unlikely), and maybe some love for the Dark Reign era Thunderbolts (again, unlikely).

Well, as you can tell from my avatar, I do love the 'Bolts. Songbird pops up a lot in lists lately. Sadly, these lists have all been fake but maybe there's hope?
I wish they would go for some outside of the box characters.
It should be the other way around , Jake can fly and do other things.
